Hi Kevin, Sorry this took so long. I was just on the website for your place...how do you leave a review?? If you want to post this...here goes! Thanks again for all your help and for the lovely week in Italy! We won't forget it :) Sara Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place! Beautiful place, inside and out, with amazing views! Our family of 5 stayed there with another family of 5 and it was perfect. Each family had their own floor and enough space that we didn't feel "on top of each other!" The kids loved the pool and we found the surrounding villages charming. It was a bit of a hike to get to any of the bigger cities, but worth the drive. Assisi had to be one of our favorites! Kevin, you were very helpful from the first time we contacted you! Very quick to respond to any questions and even talked on the phone with us to explain driving directions (can be a little tricky!) We loved the books you had at the house with all the details of the house itself and the surrounding areas and restaurants. We headed to the coast on one of your recommendations and could not have been more pleased! Gorgeous area!! All in all, we had a blast! Great family time in a great house with amazing views! Thanks so much!!

Thank you for a lovely stay at Casa Dorato. We found everything we needed for a superb week. We did top up the pool once during our stay, although it was so hot we think it was evaporating faster than we could fill it! We really enjoyed the rural setting, so peaceful with lots of wildlife/farm goings on to keep us amused.

We left a pack of pegs on the kitchen table, as we managed to break several - I think perhaps the sun makes them brittle.

We would be happy to recommend Casa Dorata, and would definately look forward to returning sometime in the future.

We got back OK thanks.




We had a great fortnight, weather was in mid 30's most of the time, the only rain came on Friday evening of our last week.

Villa was great, swimming pool area was great, found lots of good restaurants, with one really strange one in Sarnarno which was a bit like Faulty Towers, the waiter resembled Gerard Depardeau in looks, but Manuel in service. Found Marche to be good to see, much quieter than Pistoia and Umbria, which was nice. House wines were generally excellent, the Italians definitely keep the best wines for themselves.

Saw most of the football,Italians were friendly even in defeat!

Cleaning ladies were very friendly, even though we could not understand much of what they were saying.




Wireless Internet worked well.

We had a great time at Casa Dorato and we are very happy about the house
and the area in general! The weather was great all the time (both there and
later in Tuscany), but it was almost too hot when the heat wave from Africa
arrived for us Norwegians ;) But thanks for having a pool! :)

Thanks to your great information folders and also information from your
nice and helpful gardener (forgot the name), we visited both local
restaurants and interesting spots. It is very helpful that your have these
information folders. Also, we very impressed with all the equipments in the
house!

I can not remember anything negative and feel free to use us if you need
references for potential Norwegian custumers in the future.

We returned yesterday from Casa Dorato.? We felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to stay at your lovely villa, it is a credit to you.? We couldn’t fault it, the design, the furnishing and location. ??We hope to visit again in the future.

Relaxed house in an easy-going part of Italy - near enough to villages, restaurant. It's a schlep to the coast - but with a nice pool and lovely views, why bother. Not many tourists around here (+ive point) but people are friendly.
At least one car is essential, two even better.
Can be recommended for a large-ish family.

This was our second visit to Le Marche within two years. The villa was as described and faultless. We found the split level accommodation ideal for our family of six, including two grandparents and two grandchildren. The pool was a great success. We particularly enjoyed the views of the countryside. The nearby villages of Penna San Giovanni and Monte San Martino were particularly attractive as was the larger town of Sarnano with its excellent market. Access to the mountains was within half an hours drive and the coast within about one hour. There is a host of information on the area available at the villa and three mountain bikes. We hope to return.
