Perfect Home Away From Home Getaway

Pine Lake Resort was a great base from which to explore Lancaster, Morecambe and most importantly the picturesque South Lakes District.
The lodge (66) was immaculate and well presented. The layout and descriptions were in keeping with the listing and the reviews for the property were all excellent.
Apart from providing a well -equipped lodge, the owner, went even further to have a stock of all the little necessities that one would usually carry along on a self- catering holiday. There was no need at all for any detergents, a few toiletry essentials and books and games to keep us occupied at the hint on inclement weather.
The previous occupants had left the washing machine buttons broken, and we promptly had a visit from the owner's mum, to apologise and advise on when it would be fixed. As his representative, she was absolutely personable and very helpful as to potential activities we could embark on whilst on holiday. In addition, the lodge itself was well stocked with files of activities as well as restaurants and other services in the surrounding areas. As a last minute decision, we extended our stay by a night and the owner was really accommodating.
I would definitely recommend this lodge, as well as 67. Families or even friends that are looking for a base from which to explore the surrounds, or even get down to the many on site activities would find this a great location. With mini golf, kids' clubs, pools, tennis courts, spa facilities, on site restaurant, games' room and water sports, Pine Lake Resort, and more importantly, Lodges 66 and 67 were a pleasure to stay at.

An excellantly equipped, spacious two bedroom modern style wooden Lodge, ideal for 2-4 persons self catering; situated in a quiet part of the Pine Lake Water Sports Resort. As the owner lives within 5 miles of the lodge, any problems that arise, are immediately dealt with.
This is an ideal holiday centre for those who wish to go walking on routes which are in the main relatively flat, such as the canal path to Lancaster, with an alternative branch off to Morecambe via the long sea front promanade.
The scenic walks in Silverdale and around Arnside show the full majestic beauty of this part of the Bay and the Kent Estuary up to Milthorpe.
For the over 60's with the benefits of Bus pass and rail card you are on direct routes via Carnforth to Grange over Sands, Cartmel Races, Windermere, Barrow on Furness and the scenic rail line up the West Cumbria coast to Carlisle, and, going south, Lancaster, Morcambe and Blackpool via Lancaster, are within easy reach.
This is our third stay at Pine Lake and have no hestitation in recommending this accommodation, in this Resort, in this part of the Southern Lakes, as a must holiday experience.

the lodge 66 exceeded our expectations, great position, very clean, attention to detail was exceptional . Thanks to Harvey for a proffesional service. highly recommend Pine Lakes.Hope to return in the near future..

Lovely Lodge - Great for families

We have just returned from a lovely week at lodge 66. Lodge is excellently appointed (a real home from home), containing all that you would expect, and more.
Park is great for families and very well situated in the local area.
