The driveway winds for half a mile through the woods to this delightful cottage, set in ten acres of extensive lawns and a beautiful woodland garden surrounded by a stream.

Total peace, seclusion and privacy make this a great location to completely relax and unwind, forget about deadlines and immerse yourself in this unique away-from-it-all setting. Ideal for couples or a small family - children and dogs will love playing in the large garden and in stream below the cottage.

Originally built in the 19th century, and completely renovated at the end of the 20th century, Gardener's Cottage is comfortable and cosy and has the original working fireplace in the sitting room - a bonus on those chillier evenings. Logs are provided and further supplies can be gathered from the surrounding woodland.

The location is very dog-friendly as the nearest road - a minor road - is half a mile away and there are no sheep to worry!

Wonderful week at the cottage

I stayed at the cottage for a week with my wife and 4 year old son. We all had a wonderful time, despite the rain for 4 of the 7 days! The gardens are beautiful and vast, although it was a shame that we were unable to make more use of them.
The cottage was comfortable and more than enough room for us. All the key items were there for us to use - cooker, fridge, washing machine, dyrer etc.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and would certainly like to return one day.

A fantastic peaceful and lovely cottage what beautiful gardens we had a great relaxing stay. The dogs loved there peaceful morning and evening walks and were so well behaved love to return soon.

Ein tolles, sehr gepflegtes Ferienhaus, komplett und komfortabel ausgestattet. Liegt in einem gepflegten Park und bietet die Ruhe, die man zum Entspannen braucht. Ist ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge an die Küste (Tenby, Freshwater) oder zu diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Städten(Bronwydd Arms Station, Gwili Steam Railway, Cardigan, Pembroke, Cardiff, Brecons etc.). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen (15 km).
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war immer sehr informativ und schnell.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
