Our party of 4 stayed at the end of June beginning of July 2008 and the villa exceeded our expectations. The pool area was extremely private and with the beautiful gardens and sitting areas we could all pick our perfect spot to soak up the glorious sun. The view from the terrace was lovely and we spent many an evening watching the cruise ships sailing in the distance and then looking at the stars when the sun had gone down.
Everything that you could need was available including ice on tap from the American style fridge freezer for our sundowners! We spent a glorious, relaxing 2 weeks just chilling out.
Would highly recommend a day trip to Barcelona and closer to the villa the medieval viallges of Begur and Besalu which were both really pretty and gave a true flavour of Spain!
This was a well maintained, clean and beautiful villa which we will recommend to family and friends alike!

BLISS - A Perfect Family Retreat!

A super 10 days in a really super villa. We loved lazy days by the pool, a very hot day trip to Barcelona, a day at Agua-Dive (get there early!) and a super trip to the Dali Theatre and Museum.
Many a great evening by the BBQ too ......BLISS
We will most certainly recommend this villa to our friends - a perfect family retreat!

2 Glorious weeks Sunshine in this Beautiful Villa

We have enjoyed two glorious weeks of sunshine and relaxation in this beautiful villa.
It's our second time here and again we have not been disappointed. Covered patio area is a great addition and we sat out till late and enjoyed late night swims in the pool.

Fantastic relaxing and wonderful days at your villa.
Enjoyed the beach at Platja d'Aro. Loved relaxing by the pool with the children - a real home away from home. Great facilities, view, privacy and beautiful towns, villages and beaches.

This is just THE IDEAL PLACE for us

We came here last year and came back for 2nd year and stayed 2 weeks. This is just the ideal place for us - Garden, swimming pool, and view from a beautiful house.
The beach at Castell is beautiful and quiet and yesterday we found a good restaurant in Palamos at Hostal Vasto.

We have enjoyed a wonderful 10 days at Villa Corela. The location of the villa is perfect with glorious views, privacy and easy access to the many beautiful beaches and medieval villages.
We have stayed at many places in the past but this by far has been THE BEST and we hope to return in the future.

We came here to relax. How could you not with it's wonderful views, large pool and beautiful grounds. Villa Corela is the PERFECT place.
Would recommend Sant Pol for lunch.

Marvellous May Holiday

We spent a week at the beautiful Villa Corela with our 18 month old and mother-in-law. We had a truly fantastic holiday and from the time of enquiry to the time we left the villa everything was handled professionally and Sue was very helpful with any enquiries we had before we arrived. We were met by their agent Sam who was very friendly and able to provide us with much local knowledge. There is also lots of information in the villa book. A cot was provided and there were even pool toys and floats for all the family. We loved spending time round the pool which was very private and also had fabulous views towards the sea and mountains. We were able to have lots of bbqs and the gazebo provided welcome shade when we needed it. We all enjoyed the different parts of the beautiful gardens for some quiet moments!- my husband especially loved the hammock! Villa Corela is ideally situated to explore this region of Spain and we visited some lovely beaches and restaurants. You can see that the owners take great pride in the villa both inside and out and everywhere was spotless. May was a lovely time to visit as the evenings were a little cooler and meant that our 18 month old slept well – thankfully! The heated pool was also a great asset. We definitely hope to return to Villa Corela – thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Nice house, great pool, fantastic views

We came from Germany by car to have a relaxing time in spain.
The house is very nice. Everything is well kept and organized by the house owners as well as the people in spain who look after Villa Corela.
We were a family with two kids (8 and 10) and another couple.
The kids had much fun in the giant pool that even had LED lighting - really nice.
We had a very relaxing time! :-)

Exceeded Expectations - Super Villa

We wanted a villa so that we could have our sons, their wives and grandchildren for a special holiday and selected Villa Corela from the internet. From the time we booked we had excellent communication with the owners. As soon as Sue heard we were having two 6 month old babies we were offered high chairs and cots complete with sheets and blankets. Sue also ensured the pool was heated for our three week stay. We drove down from England and met Sam at the Suma supermarket and followed her to the villa. Sam showed us around, where everything was and was very informative and advised us on the best shops, landmarks, beaches etc. in the surrounding area. Sam was also available during our stay to answer any questions we had.
It is obvious from first entering the villa that everything is to a high standard and very well maintained with a many extras e.g. iPod player, ice maker/chilled water dispenser, safe, bicycles etc. that Sue and Anthony have added that made our stay even more enjoyable. Indeed there are many personal touches like books, CDs and DVDs left to use.
The facilities in the villa are truly excellent with each bedroom having its own en-suite.
The villa and gardens are extremely well maintained with many areas to explore and sit in the garden. After spending a relaxing day by the pool we had lots of barbeques and meals eaten outside on the terrace. However, the very impressive remotely controlled pool lighting meant that we could use the heated pool late into the night; a lovely experience. The position of the pool is such that there is total privacy yet there are fantastic views all around.
During our stay we walked to the small town of Calonge and had a good meal in one of the restaurants and also ate a tapas bar in the square. We also went to the market on Thursday for fresh produce.
The three weeks went by very quickly but we all had a truly wonderful time about which we all still talk about.
