Just spent a wonderful week at this villa with my husband and 2 kids (14 and 10). It was very clean, comfortable and well equiped. The garden and pool were lovely and always in the sun. The garden was also well furnished and basically we all had a really lazy family holiday which is exactly what we wanted.

We booked the accommodation at the very last minute but everything was extremely well organised for us. We got lost finding the property and someone even came to find us to escort us to the villa!

I would have no hesitation recommending this villa to friends or family - although a big part of me would like to keep it a secret!

Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (6 year old and 3 year old twins) spent a fantastic week at this beautiful villa in August. The villa is obviously a well loved family home and it was immaculate. Spotlessly clean, Isabel, the maid, is obviously a gem. The pool was super and very well used. I spent every evening of the 1st floor dining terrace. The kitchen is small but well-equipped but other than barbecuing we only cooked properly once. There is a delightful Italian trattoria on the Quinta do Paraiso complex.

We only visited the communal pools once but they were lovely and clean. The children also enjoyed the organised evening activities, such as the mini disco. We loved the Carveiro area and discovered some gorgeous beaches. Although we drove to the beaches and it would have been too far to walk to the beach with the children.

The management company were also excellent and very well organised.

We would definitely recommend this villa for a family holiday.

We have just returned from our holiday in the Algarve where we stayed at this beautiful villa. The villa and surrounding area were lovely and the garden and pool fantastic, we couldn't keep our children out of the pool it was truly wonderful. The garden as described in previous reviews is glorious and contained some fabulous plants and gorgeous flowers and was a relaxing place to spend time. We also enjoyed the upstairs terrace/balcony which has distant but lovely sea views and is very spacious. It is about a 15-20 minute walk into Carvoeiro - we cut through the Monte Carvoeiro complex and down a steep flight of stairs which took you down to the centre of the village (it is quite a steep climb back up especially in the heat). I would recommend a car to take advantage of all the beautiful beaches in the area and to travel further afield. We found some nice places to eat at the Square with the fountain at Monte Carvoeiro which is only a 5-10 minute walk from the villa.

We had a lovely holiday and would definately recommend this beautiful villa for a relaxing break.

We spent ten wonderful days at this lovely villa in June/July 2008, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. It was everything we wanted - and more. The directions from Fara airport were very clear, and we found the villa without too much difficulty. We found the villa to be very nicely furnished and well equipped. It was very clean and comfortable. David from the Management Company was extremely helpful. In our opinion this villa is located in a beautiful area, with lots of greenery all around, and nice views to glory in. The gardens around the villa were glorious, a mass of colours, and so very pretty. We wanted a quiet relaxing holiday, and that is exactly what we had. The area was very peaceful. We spent our days in, and by, the pool, and our evenings in Carvoeiro. We liked Carvoeiro very much. We ate in quite a few restaurants and found the food to be of a very high standard wherever we went. We did find that it was preferable for us to have the use of a car, although it is not essential if you are fit and like walking. We would have no hesitation in going back again, and know that we would enjoy it just as much the next time.

We've just come back from our holiday in the algave and it was the best holiday we've had with our young family. The villa was everything we could have asked for and the pool was great, the kids loved it. The cleaner & management company were friendly and helpful. The cleaner even hung our washing out for us when we'd gone out! The area was a little quiet to begin with (end of may) but soon became buiser at the start of june but never too busy. Would definately recommend. Thank You.
