All i can say is wow - Myself, then to be husband and 14 friends came to stay. We were amazed by the space. cleanliness, facilities and the views. It was the perfect place for us all to stay. The pictures do not do it justice it exceeded our expectations. Helen was amazingly helpful throughout our stay with the villa and helping in our wedding preparations. She definitely knows the area and along with her staff were extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to all.

Exceptional holiday rental

When I saw this holiday rental I thought it was too good to be true.
However the photos not only lived up to expectations but exceeded them and yes the sun sets did look like the photographs.
Every thing is very well organised and even in our 1 week stay we had the villa cleaned from top to bottom.
Perfect for a family holiday as it has plenty of space.

Perfect place for families

We stayed one week at Knossos Estate and it was perfect! The villa is very large we had 12 people in our group and it fitted all of us with no problems. The view is amazing and Rethymnon is a great town and has fantastic restaurants. Thank you to Helen for making our stay so memorable, we would love to come back one day!

the best place to wide up the Crete and relax

First point-the most comfortable atmosphere everyone can wish.(e.g. during our stay we had guests,our friends who resting in the cretan hotels, twice; they were staying in high class hotels 5VIP,-and they enjoyed our property more then their hotels in all ways)
Calm, beautiful views of Rethemno, easy to reach the town and any beach.
Some place to hide away from eyes:upper of the pool.
Big and easy to control(if there are kids) pool.
Inside: evrything with taste,styled and comfortable to use, you can find everything for house keeping, except dish washing machine:there are 2 but small and don't clean well.
Cleaning of the house in a day and with very good personals! They are ready to help in everything!
It's the place which I wish to return more and more!
For experienced traveler: 2 min to the Minos necropolis, 4 min to Armeni-acient village of Crete, 60 min or less to the Lebanon sea,etc.

The pictures don't lie; this yard is big pimping. If anything they don't quite do it justice. We were a group of 16+ 21 year-olds and this place was more than good enough for us and worked out as an absolute bargain. Helen is quite the character and sorted us out with as many pita Gyros as we could eat. The BBQ was excellent, the rooms were perfect, the maid was slow and steady (albeit slightly grumpy, as you would be if you were cleaning up after that many Yoots) but got the job done, the view out of the villa was outrageous and we watched the sun rise and set on most of the evenings, the location was useful in that it allowed us to make alot of noise without receiving alot of complaints but for a group on a budget it wasn't ideal that anything worth visiting eg. the beach, the fort, the old town, were all a taxi ride away. All in all this place is burnin bubblin haat and i would drop everything and go back there in a second. Peace out Helen, see you next year x

This was my families first holiday on Crete and we found it more than satisfying-infact the villa,the town and the generosity and hospitality shown by the Cretan people epitomised what you would describe as a luxurious holiday.We found the villa very clean and comfortable and the pool was much larger than we had anticipated.My children particularly enjoyed the barbecue on the patio which we made use of most evenings.Helen was on call whenever we needed her and we made use of her vast local knowledge to recommend places of interest and days out.
Rethymno is a beautiful town and has something for all age groups.The promenade is lined with palm trees and as you walk east there are cafes,bars and tavernas which come to life at night.
I would recommend Knossos Estate Villas for families like mine and hopefully we will be back next year.

Well where do i start,these are newly built villas and i must say built to a very high standard they are pure luxury.When you step outside you are surrounded by beautiful gardens and private pools.The views are stunning with a nearby gorge and sea views.They are ideally located in a peaceful location just 15mins walk to the beautiful old town of rethymnon with a beautiful old harbour and venetian fortress.There are plenty of traditional tavernas and bars with other cuisine available.You can walk along the bay which has the most beautiful sandy beach i have ever seen with water sportsThere is a market on the new harbour once a week which is very popular.Helen the owner was wonderful always in contact and couldnt do enough to make my stay a memorable one.I would highly recommend a holiday here and i have already booked for next year
