Great place and convenient to all we wanted to do

Laura was a great hostess. She was helpful in giving us advice if needed. The place was super cute and conveniently located. Had all the things we needed and able to provide off street parking for our rental car. Could walk easily to public transportation. Close to beach. Didn't need laundry for our stay but was available. Beautiful place. would highly recommend.

Hated to leave this great rental. everything was perfect, from the great view to the easy access to all that San Francisco has to offer. Will definitely rent here on any future trip.

We stayed in Laura's appartment when visiting San Francisco. It was our first stop on our round trip through the USA and we and felt immediately at home in her place. In a quiet residential area we all felt very comfortable and could have stayed even longer :-)

We would highly recommend and would love to come again when going back to San Francisco.

Well maintained property with lots of amenities and friendly, helpful owner. Off street parking space is a nice plus. Not close to the usual tourist areas (30-40 minutes by bus) but quiet and with easy access to Golden Gate Park. Single bathroom can get a little tight for families in a hurry.

Cosy stay with great views

3 adults and one toddler stayed in the San Francisco apartment for 4 nights. This was our first stop on a California tour for first timers. The apartment is cosy and does not have the sparse feel that some rental properties have. It radiates warmth and is comfortable. The lounge includes an amazing tv and the master bed is so relaxing. The "words" that are dotted around all the walls add interest and originality. The kitchen is amazingly equipped. The views in the evening to the ocean are to die for. The neighbourhood feels safe and inviting. You are far enough away from the city to avoid all the noise but only a 20 minute muni ride away to get to all the sights you want to see. We visited fishermans wharf, pier 39, Alcatraz, the painted ladies, golden gate park, the crookedest street etc. We did a city bus tour to take in the sights and rode the old fashioned trolleys! The transport links available are fantastic and our car was not used for the entire stay. Our little girl loved the space that was offered in the apartment and there were plenty of books and games available that added to the homely feel. The owner popped by to say hello and made us feel extremely welcome. Like staying with a friend. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here should a home away from home stay be required.

My family and I decided to make a last minute trip to San Francisco to help move my son. We email Laura the owner on a Friday night and we had a reply from her by Saturday morning. I was able to talk to Laura on the phone and ask questions and get answers. She email me the contract right away and we made the necessary payment arrangments and obtaining the keys over the phone and by fax. The Ocean View Home is very nice and has many special features (gourmet kitchen, ocean views thru large picture windows and deck sitting area, king size bed in master bedroom and free parking in the driveway). I wasn't sure if we needed to bring our dog, but Laura was flexible and could accommodate a dog. Laura was available when we arrived and she is happy to provide as much or little information/advice you may need for your stay in San Francisco. Thank you Laura for making your place available for others to enjoy.

Very clean, best equiped, beautiful view to the ocean with lovely sunsets, good tranfer possiblities to city Center. I would say, everything is perfect, would come any time again :-)

This apartment has the perfect combination of being close to everything, having the view, but at the same time being in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are exquisitely decorated like a five star hotel, yet you can feel at home with the cosy wooden floor and the huge gourmet kitchen. I stayed with my husband and our 3 young kids and there were masses of board games for them to play. The TV entertainment system was fantastic as well. The weather was a bit cold (we were there in February) but that didnt stop my husband and I from having a glass of Napa Valley wine on the lovely candle lit deck. Laura lives downstairs so she was at hand whenever we needed her (which incidentally was only to ask her for tips, as there were no problems at all with the apartment) She recommended some great restaurants in the Napa area and places to visit with kids which we tried and were fantastic! We will surely make this apartment our home away from home on our next trip to San Francisco. Thank you Laura!!!

Beautiful sea views in a quiet neighborhood

My husband and I and our two boys loved our stay at this house. It was so pretty and the furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The 180 degree view of the ocean was beautiful. We were able to pretend as though we lived in the city for several days. We brought our dog and took him for neighborhoood and beach walks every day. The owner, Laura, was extremely nice and helpful. She gave us several good suggestions for places to eat and to walk the dog. We enjoyed Fort Funston, a great place to take the dog for an off-leash walk. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants the comfort of a nice home while they visit the city!

Definitely recommended for a great stay

This is a great location in the Sunset District. Very importantly for that area, there is parking! The 2 bed, 1 bath, upstairs unit was clean and nicely furnished, with a great kitchen. The master bedroom closet was great for clothing/storage, so that everything was put away. We called when we got to SF, and Laura was there to greet us and make us feel at home and answer any questions. We lived in San Francisco for 16 years and when we came for this visit, were able to walk to some old favorite restaurants. We were close to Lake Merced and GG Park (south and north, respectively, on Sunset). Had we needed public transportation, that was close also. We would definitely recommend this unit. The view was magnificent also when the weather cooperated.
