We stayed in this great studio apartment near the Olympia Overground in November 2012: it is clean, bright, spacious, and with its friendly owners living upstairs (which is really handy).
We can definitely recommend this flat!

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful time. After a long flight, we were both delighted to see how clean and inviting the apartment was. The apartment was just as the listing had described and had been cleaned thoroughly as guests had just left earlier in the day. With the owners living upstairs, any time we had a question or concern it was taken care of immediately and they were lovely folks. Not only was the apartment wonderful, but the area was just about the perfect location for staying in London. Right off the Kensington High Street and a two minute walk from a quiet tube stop, you can experience the busiest parts of London while escaping to the quieter area just the same.

If you stay here, I recommend walking around the corner to the Crown and Scepter for a pint and a great dinner. The chef is only in for a few hours a night and has created a terrific menu. It was a hidden, quiet pub that felt like home with a wonderful staff. And when you need a break from sight-seeing, take the overground train (same tube stop just down the block) one stop up and you're in Shephard's Bush, a less touristy area with wonderful shops, a great Waitrose for groceries, good restaurants and you'll even save a few pounds on most things as the "tourist mark up" is gone.

The only warning I have is if you're tall, be ready to feel a little cramped in the shower. But I'm 6'7" and wife who's tall didn't have any problem. There were no problems at all with the apartment and we knew if there was, Daniel and his wife would be more than helpful. I cannot stress how wonderful our stay was.

If you have the chance, this is a great choice for a lovely London stay. My wife and I will absolutely be contacting Daniel the second we decide to take another trip to London.

I don't want to repeat what it has already been said (the description is accurate, it's spotless clean, near buses and underground, Tesco and Waitrose nearby); I would like to talk about the feeling that this place gives me. I'm writing while I'm still at the apartment (I've been here for ten days now) and I'm looking outside the magnificent bay window: it feels like a country cottage with all these trees and plants on sight and yet I'm right in the center of London. I can smell the beautiful lavander that is all around (you'll also find it on your arrival under your pillow to ease a good relaxing sleep). I particularly appreciate this sight beacuse I didn't have time to get around London, I had to work so it's been a great plus to be in a very confortable and charming envirnment. This place has nothing to do with those dingy, claustrophobic studios you usually find in London. It really has been furbished with love and care, like a proper home, not a vacation rental. Daniel is a perfect host: attentive and descreet, always there to help if you need anything. You really get a home feel. I fell in love with this place. Best apartment I've ever been in London (...and I've visited quite a few). I really reccommend it.

The studio flat was found to be exactly as described in the details provided. It is situated in a quiet tree lined street and is very close to the Kensington Olympia tube station which is a continuation of the Diistrict line from Earls Court. There is a tube train every twenty minutes from Kensington Olympia which in turn is four minutes tube ride to Earls Court. Earls Court and Kensington High Street are both within comfortable walking distance
The accommodation was found to be clean and tidy on arrival and all the appliances listed were present and worked well. It is a "non smoking" property which is something we appreciated
It was a pleasure to return to our "London Home" after many very full days of exploring the wonderful city that is London.
The owner, Daniel, lives above the property, was helpful and kept in touch without being obtrusive.
We had four very comforatable weeks at this property in Russell Road and would love to return for another visit some day.

I'm almost reluctant to write a review for this property as I'd like to keep it as my own little secret. However, in fairness to the owner, Daniel, I must share my experience. I've stayed in many places in London over the years but this is the apartment that I'll be heading back to at the earliest opportunity. The location could hardly be better; not only is public transport almost on the doorstep, but everything you could wish for is also within walking distance on Kensington High Street: shops, pubs, restaurants, parks. The accommodation itself is spacious, clean and comfortable: who could ask for more? The bathroom, which was already clean and fully functional during my stay, was to be refurbished on the day I left: it's hard to imagine how the facilities in this apartment could be bettered. When I think of London, I think of this lovely, inviting space. Well done, Daniel, for providing such attractive and practical accommodation.

My sister and I were travelling for three months and the week we had here was the only time we weren't staying with family or in hostels. We felt right at home in the unit- very well upkept, private and had everything we needed. Kensington is a lovely area and Russell Road is perfectly located for the tube, grocery shopping and wandering about. There was lots of information about the local area available in writing and from Daniel.

I would definitely recommend this unit, and hopefully I will be back myself soon.

This apartment is in a quite residential street just off High Street Kensington and is spacious and clean with all mod cons It is a 2 minute walk from Olympia underground and overground station and the numbers 9 and10 buses stop around the corner which serve all of central London. If you like walking Holland Park, Hyde Park Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road are all in this area. By public transport all of central London is within 10 to 20 minutes. The owner Daniel has lots of advice about restaurants, bars and shopping and how best to get around. We visit London regularly and will be back again.
