we stayed in the villa last week sept 1st week oct 2010,
and a fantastic time was had by all, my daughter her husband and 3 children stayed downstairs in the villa while my wife and i lived upstairs in the granny flat. it was the perfect solution for us. the kids nearly lived in the swimming pool which is very private and walled so security wasn't a problem. there is tv in both up and down stairs with play station games for the kids and sky for the adults. we never saw much of steve and kelv apart from the first day but they gave us tel no of people to help with any problems...not that we had any..the views are of the mountain ranges to the right and malaga to the front and both are stunning. I would recommend this to anyone, couple, family, i think wheel chairs may have a problem due to the steps but appart from that i think that this is heaven on earth and will deff be going back...

A fabulous villa,built to a high standard, very central, although a car does make things easier. A golfers delight as the golf club is within walking distance as are a few bars and restaurants. The owners, who built this villa, are very sociable, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. The whole ambience of this place is peaceful and private. My grandchildren loved the pool, despite being November the weather was in the 70's. I would highly recommend this villa to rent, I wish I could buy it! I have been totally spoilt. We (two small families friends) rented the whole villa for two weeks during July-August 2009.
The villa is situated on the hill surrounded by a beautiful nature in a very clean and quite village. There are local bar and a restaurant and a small shop for necessary grocery just within 10-15 mins walk.
If you would like a night out in the beautiful Terromolinos or Benalmadena or Malaga you would need a car. However, everything, including Malaga airport is only 20-30 mins away.
The villa itself is very clean with pleasant décor and well equipped. Although, we spent most of the time on the fairly large terrace which has nice view over the valley and the mountains in the distance or by the pool =)
The private pool is not too deep for the kids, but at the same time enough for the adults. The pool was cleaned and maintained despite frequently.
We found Steve and Kelvin very friendly, helpful and very responsive to all our needs.
We had very nice and relaxing time there and would recommend this villa as a top place for peaceful holidays.

An excellent modern Villa, very well equipped and in a fantastic area - I spent most mornings with a cup of coffee on the porch, watching the sunrise over the glorious panoramic mountain view. Night times are peaceful as the only traffic heard is the occasional local. Lots of dogs barking in the distance and you can hear the goat herder most nights. Located in a quiet Spanish town, alqueria, with two lovely pubs and a restaraunt - if you prefer Anglicised then a 5-10 min drive to Alhaurin el Grande will provide you with English Cafes, restaurants and bars with most Premier league games shown (Like the stadium sports bar). 1/2 hour from torremelinos - another 10 to Benalmadena - easy reach (with car) to Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Coin, Mijas (All worth a visit). My two Daughters loved the Clean Pool and my Wife said it was the best holiday of her life - I am inclined to agree - Steve and Kelvin (The owners) are extremely helpful and nice guys too.

Car essential. TomTom recommended!! The mountain roads are great fun - Be wary of Spanish drivers though!! Indicators are optional extras - red lights are like advice rather than a mandatory warning - Parking is more like 'abandoning' and Horns are fitted to Spanish cars simply to let the driver in front know the lights have been green for a nanosecond now.
Seriously though - We loved it and I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Villa is well maintained and clean. It is well equiped the owners steve + kelvin advertise the villa as semi detached - it is actually detached with a lovely flat above perfect for familys as grandma and grandad could have their own retreat and the family in the villa below - it will be heaven for all.Could also be used for couples wanting their own privacy. Pool was clean and is a nice size, very private with sunloungers and shade facility. Great value for money - you get a fantastic location there are 2 pubs and 1 restaurant within 10 mins walk. Driving for a short distance to other nice restaurants and local golf club. It is about 35 mins drive from the coast and has nice surrounding villages to visit. Information is kept in the store cupboard in the lounge for market places. The owners steve + kelvin are very helpful really good company too. Thank you Julie and Michael (from Leeds)

Peace and tranquilty and a bit of true Spain is what we were looking for....a total get-away... and relaxation and that is exactly what we got.This really was a chill-out zone !

The property is in a delightful country location yet close enough by car to reach some interesting small towns. The tiny village of La Alqueria, just 10-15 minutes walk along a country road, is cute! We highly recommend the Venta La Porrita (thankfully a totally Spanish!) Restaurant. (Just one of many great recommendations by the villa owners!).

The location of the villa offers the opportunity to be away from the busy places yet close enough by car to get to the coast, shops or other places of interest.

This villa offers privacy and that 'away-from-it-all' feeling (without any feeling of isolation). Often the only sounds you hear are the lively chatterings of the the typically Spanish family nearby (delightful honestly!) or a distant dog bark or braying horse.

The villa itself is well equipped, clean and well maintained with a pleasant decor. The interior has an airy, fresh feel and the exterior is spacious and has beautiful views over the countryside.

The pool is clean, of a good size, very private and well equipped with plenty of sun loungers and shade facility.

The owners, Steve and Kelvin, are helpful, delightful, relaxed and fun. We found them to be absolutely true to their word on every aspect of our holiday.They were extremely responsive to our needs when we found ourselves booking a holiday at the very last minute. All in all, pleasure to do business with.

We shall definately be returning to this haven of tranquility to recharge our batteries. Our only reservation in writing this review is that other people might find this hidden gem that we have stumbled upon !
