Views are unsurpassed and unobstructed, quiet cul de sac street. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and living room. Laundry facilities on the premises. 3 Car garage. Master suite has marble vanities with a large walk in closet. Views from every room. A lot of natural light to enjoy and spectacular sunsets from your porch or dock!

My family and I spent two weeks in this home this past summer. We absolutely loved the place. It was very clean, and had plenty of room for the 4 of us and our two dogs. We cannot say enough good things about the home. The appliances are all brand new, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. The master suite in incredibly spacious and very comfortable. The back yard is completely fenced in for pets. The home is located on a dead end street, which is nice also for pets in knowing that the traffic is not abundant. Having the boat dock so close to the home was perfect, we spent many days pulling the kids on the tube, fishing and just hanging out with the locals @ Snake Island on the sand bar. This home is located very close to great restaurants either by boat, car and even in walking distance. The downtown of Venice is also close enough to walk to in just a few minutes. We will definitely be back!

Nokomis Rental Home Review
Location, Location, Location!
We recently returned up north after a wonderful February vacation at Bill’s rental home in Nokomis, Fl. This house absolutely exceeded our expectations!
The house has an unobstructed view of Robert’s Bay with beautiful sunrise and sunset reflections.
Nokomis is a quiet, welcoming small town yet this home is within walking distance to Venice with its lively shops and restaurants.
Rt #41, with all the shopping and other amenities, is easily accessible. Nokomis beach is only a few minutes drive.
This house is full of daytime brightness. It easily accommodates 6 adults with its comfortable beds, arrangement of couches, dining room, well equipped kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, laundry room, and porch entertainment furniture.
Bill was very responsive to our questions and needs. He could not have been more enthusiastic about our having a great vacation in his home.
We have already made plans to rent this wonderful home again next year. Our vacation could not have been better.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
I want to thank you Bill for allowing us to rent your home! We are loving our time here and it feels like home away from home. When we arrived the home was very clean and in excellent condition. The decor has a pottery barn feel and the location is perfect. It is so nice to enjoy my morning coffee on the dock or the wonderful front porch overlooking the bay. The wi-fi has worked flawlessly. With downtown Venice and the Legacy Trail so close, we have barely used our car. We can walk or bike everywhere (even the grocery store). My husband has enjoyed fishing off your dock and I am proud to say we have been able to use your grill to cook our freshly caught fish! I would recommend your home to anyone and look forward to coming back next year! Again, Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your home! Love, Kelley and Chris O'Leary

Disappointing
The property was purportedly ready to be rented, but when I arrived it felt like someone was already living there. There were shoes, clothing and personal items in the bedroom and leftover food in the refrigerator. In addition, although the house was advertised as dog friendly, care had not been taken to render is so; there was a gap at the bottom of the backyard fence of six to eight inches in places, rendering it insecure except to very large breeds. The advertised (and confirmed via email) internet connection was not in place, although I'd indicated that was an essential factor. I had to wait out the week and then host an installer from the cable company for an entire morning, allowing him to use my computer, etc.
There was no lighting whatsoever in the living room and the property was not conducive to nighttime reading throughout.
All of the trash cans were filled to the brim, the advertised three car garage was completely occupied by the owner's belongings, including a large boat; the guest bedroom did not have sheets beneath the bedspread, many windows did not have screens, the front door key was difficult to both retrieve and replace, but the worst of it was that when I requested my substantial security deposit back the owner ignored repeated messages, refused to send the money, then started adding various deductions for inappropriate and inapplicable fees. I would not recommend this site.

We had an excellent stay at this residenceThe location was perfect--very quiet,near the water and within walking distance to downtown Venice.The property was clean and well cared for with all the amenities nessessary included. Restaurants were close enough to walk to and grocery stores ,restaurants and stores a short drive away.We loved the fact that the beach was also a few minutes away. The only drawback was not having a pool and a gathering place in the area.I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

BETTER THAN DESCRIBED - AMAZING
Debbie and Bill, we had such a great time, we can't thank you enough - our stay at your house was AMAZING, and so are the both of you! From the time we inquired about availability to when our rental period expired you?ve been nothing but helpful, gracious, and accommodating.
Your thoughtfulness showed the moment we opened the front door. Being greeted by the biggest gift/amenity basket we?d ever seen filled with wine and both kinds of biscuits (doggie and people) was immensely appreciated, as were the “things to do” list, and restaurant suggestions.
As if the gift basket wasn?t a terrific surprise, your home was even better than described. Everything about the place was fantastic! It?s location on Robert?s Bay was drop dead gorgeous. Every night around 6pm the four of us, Tom, Moose, Monkey, and myself sat on the “dock of the bay” and soaked up the sunset. I snapped a photo of one of the more spectacular ones, and it is now the screen saver on my phone.
The house was perfectly suited to our needs with its large fenced yard and proximity to the best dog beach in the world. As the owner?s of two dogs yourselves, I know you both appreciate how great it is to be able to take your pets on vacation with you. Tom and I joke that our month long stay in January was really a vacation for the dogs because the weather was unseasonably cool, which meant that the only beach goers were Moose and Monkey!
Even though it was a “doggie” vacation we managed to have a great time ourselves, and the house proved to be perfect in every way for us as well. It was chock full of amenities from the big kitchen which was a delight to cook in, to the lovely bedrooms with their comfy beds and linens, to the best master bath ever.
Oh and the Wi-Fi was a great additional amenity too!!!
Thanks again, we truly loved our stay and will definitely be back!
