This is a huge beautiful wooden structure.
This is not a "cabin" from the inside,it is a great hall, double height, with three large settees,a dining table and chairs and a kitchen with vast furniture all combined in a glowing wooden structure. The beams are whole trees.
Overlooking the area below is a bedroom with a large, comfortable bed, a window to give light and a second large television.
The bathroom and toilet are well equipped, although the fittings remind me of my childhood, with a bath on legs and a toilet flush operated with a chain.
Outside there is a vast garden of lawn and walks down to a lovely river where one can look across to the warm golden hills in the evenings.
Farmington is a modern town in which everything is accessible by car. There are interesting places to visit, Indian pueblo sites from the past and more modern small frontier towns. There are country walks with strange rock formations, parks and museums. Then the cabin is a wonderful place to which you can return for a home made or ready made supper.
Outside the cabin is a pond with fish, some of which are very large.
The property is very well maintained and Rose is a very responsive hostess.
