This is a very sunny, bright apartment (970 Square feet - 90sq mt) located on the top floor (4th) of a typical roman mansion block , with modern bathrooms and fully fitted kitchen with wooden floors throughout and air conditioning in both bedrooms and living room. Accommodation consists of living and dining room with hi-fi, LCD plasma TV, DVD player and Satellite Sky Decoder which will allow you to watch several of the channels in English. There is a laptop with free internet connection and Wi-Fi.

The Master bedroom has a LCD TV / DVD player which can play region 1 dvd's and an en-suite shower room with toilet and sink, the other bathroom is next to the other double bedroom. The newly fitted kitchen has an oven,microwave oven, gas hob, kettle, washing machine,dishwasher & Nespresso coffee maker.

The apartment also benefits from independent central heating and continuous hot water.

There are plenty of shops nearby, it is very near the Vatican Museums and Saint Peter’s Square. Excellent transport, 2 mins walk to the underground with direct line to the Spanish Steps.

For people who have stayed before please note there is now a brand new elevator therefore no more walk up 80 steps

An extremely comfortable,spacious,very well equipped and maintained apartment exactly as described and photographed for the website, with a high standard of fittings and furnishings. Ottaviano metro station is conveniently close by and the Vatican is within easy walking distance. There is a good choice of restaurant in the local area, plus an excellent covered market if you prefer to eat in.

We were particularly impressed with our dealings with the owner who went to great lengths to ensure that our stay in her apartment was as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. All our (many) queries, both before and during our stay were dealt with promptly and professionally; in addition a delivery of groceries was arranged so that we were able to eat in on the evening of our arrival.

RomeCabs provided an efficient transfer service to Ciampino.

This is the second time we have used HomeAway and feel that direct contact with the owner is far preferable to dealing with a letting agency. This was much more than a holiday let and felt like a real home.We would be happy to return and would recommend this apartment unreservedly.

Many thanks to the owner for ensuring that we had a great holiday.

This apartment is a lovely place to stay while you are in Rome. Inside it is airy, light, cool, clean and well equipped. Being on the top floor means that you are above the traffic and looking out onto the tree tops & at the birds and the sky. Outside it is well placed, just up the road from the metro, (all of the city is only minutes away) and some good bus routes, (#23 gives some good views along the river). St Peter's Square is a pleasant evening stroll away. There are good restaurants nearby and a wide variety of shops. The bakers between the metro and the apartment was always open & had excellent pastries. I only wish we had stayed longer so we could have explored even more. Thank you. Lovely apartment - great facilities and location

The apartment was clean and very well equipped. Everything worked as described and we were provided with excellent information prior to our stay which ensured everything ran smoothly. The air conditioning was very efficient - a bonus as it was quite hot during our stay.
The whole booking process was great - Flavia was very prompt acknowledging all emails and refunding the damage deposit. Overall, no complaints and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment (as long as you are reasonably fit until the elevator is installed!).

Fantastic Apartment for Vatican Area

My family and I stayed in this apartment for one week and found it to be a perfect apartment for us. The entire setup and professionalism by the owner makes you want to stay or always come back. We went back to Rome later and would have stayed here again but the apartment was occupied.

My family loved it! They didn't particularly like the 5 flights of stairs but it helped us work off the gelato.

Fantastic location close to Vatican.

This was just one of four apartments that the four of us stayed in during out 2 week trip to Italy. The apartment is very nice and clean. The location is great. As long as you don't mind stairs this might just be the place for you. We would stay here again when we return to Rome.
