About this property

Situated on the much favoured southern side of the gated, 24 hr security controlled, Jolly Harbour Marina residential community. Our spacious and fully air-conditioned villa is a 5 minute stroll to a beautiful white sandy beach with beach bars, restaurants and sporting facilities.

Our Villa benefits from a fully equipped, open plan kitchen, large sitting room/dining area with cable TV, unlimited wi-fi ( subject to technical availability). The refurbished first floor has Italian tiled floors, modern ensuite shower rooms and balcony to master bedroom. Simple modern furnishings throughout. Direct access via patio doors to tiled and furnished deck. Beautiful views and afternoon sunshine.

Bed sheets and bath towels are provided for the duration of your stay and a cleaner will visit once a week for stays of over 7 nights. Extra housekeeping services available by request ( at cost) from management office in the centre.

The Villa is primarily our holiday home, and we have enjoyed family holidays here for almost twenty years. The property is equipped as a base for an enjoyable and relaxing family or couples beach or activity holiday.

All facilities within the community we are easily accessible within a few minutes walk, although golf carts are available for rental ( subject to availability) from various vendors.

The Commercial centre of the community houses a large well stocked supermarket (with Waitrose products and familiar U.S groceries ), a good variety of restaurants and bars, banks, car and boat hire agents, gift shops etc, tennis courts, communal pool, and an open air gym and fitness suite at the 18 hole Golf Course ( subject to seasonal opening).

Independent taxi drivers operate from the Commercial Centre and the bus stops at the end of the drive.

The supermarket is open 7 days a week until 9pm and the bakery is well stocked each day.

Yacht charters, catamaran cruises and buggy, car and bicycle hire are all available to book at or through outlets in the centre.

Amazing!

We have just had the most glorious time on jolly harbour! Stones throw away from the beach 5 min walk! The villa was awesome and on our return we would def use again. Easy, clean and on hot sunny afternoons a welcome retreat on the veranda with the sunbeds! We will be back and thank you for a glorious stay!

A fantastic villa

We truly enjoyed the visit- the villa was well equipped and in the best location to explore Antigua. The beach was 2 minutes away from the beach and a walking distance from a very good supermarket. You had a lovely terrace to enjoy breakfast or sundowners. The aircon was very good and you could use your Netflix account on the TV. Internet was good for streaming and browsing. Bring your own shampoo as this was not provided but did not bother us. It might not be the most updated villa in the area and could do with some TLC, but the price value ratio is excellent. Highly recommended and if we return to Antigua, definitely consider this villa again.

Quiet location, 3 minutes walk to the beach.

The house was very clean. There is a good range of cooking utensils, very helpful as eating out was not a good option for us. Very comfortable bed, best sleeps ever!! Shady rear terrace overlooking the water. About 10 mins walk from main centre and pool.

Absolutely spotless

This was our second stay at this villa. The place was absolutely spotless on arrival. The check in process is extremely easy and the management company are readily available if needed. The location is perfect, with the beach only minutes away with a couple of beach bars there. Cocktails at Sandra’s at sunset is highly recommended. Plenty of shops and restaurants are available within the resort. I would recommend hiring a car and seeing some of the island. We could not fault this villa and would highly recommended it.

Summer holiday second time Jolly Harbor

For our second summer on Antigua and in Jolly Harbor, we stayed in this house for the first time. We enjoyed the clean house with AC throughout, which was important due to the high and humid temperatures. We did have some electrical issues in the kitchen (unsafe sockets, short circuiting using certain appliances) but these we swiftly sorted by the local electrician. We did miss some extra kitchenware (we like to cook, even on holiday) such as pots and (larger) pans, oven dishes, utensils etc. The bathrooms were great, walk-in showers after a sandy day at the beach were perfect. Our flight got cancelled on departure, the owners were so kind as to allow us to stay an extra night, which was a big help and relief. Very good en swift communication with Teresa. Would strongly recommend!

We are Mark and Teresa Ayre from the UK.

Our villa is primarily our own holiday home, comfortably furnished and equipped for our family's needs.

The property is regularly maintained and most recently the first floor has been fully renovated to reflect both our needs as a family and for the comfort of our guests. Both bedrooms now have beautifully tiled, modern, ensuite shower rooms and and the entire flooring has been replaced with matching Italian tiling.

We have installed a beautiful ceramic tiled deck and have invested in up to date air conditioning throughout the villa.

Ever aware of our guests needs, we have had our own WiFi connection installed, so guests will no longer have to use the hotspots relied upon by many of the rental villas. Unlimited WiFi is free to all guests subject to technical availability.

Due to work/family commitments we are only able to visit the island two or three times a year, so we have decided to offer the villa for holiday rental so that others can enjoy Antigua at a reasonable cost.

Why they chose this property

Our villa is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday. Close to both the beach and the central square ( containing the swimming pool, tennis courts, Marina, restaurants and supermarket) and it is simple to pop back and forth throughout the day, allowing you to split your days between sea , activities, shopping and siesta with ease. Jolly Harbour is a great base to allow you to explore the rest of the island, although with one of the best beaches in Antigua on your doorstep, many guests do not venture far!

We take pride in offering a good service to our guests and communicate regularly with you in the run up to your holiday. The combination of fully involved owners and the professionalism of the Vrbo holiday platform, offers our guests the best of both worlds. As we live in the UK it is really important to have a trusted Antiguan management company available to you throughout your stay in the Island.
