We have two rentals in our home on the ocean. The main floor unit has two bedrooms, full kitchen, one bath, living room, and deck. It can sleep five; two in each of the queen-size beds and one in the twin-size rollaway. sleeps 5 for $100 a night.

each unit is about 1200 square feet with a private entrance and use of a shared washer and dryer and front porch area. for both units that will sleep 10, cost

Our home is not in a resort but in a safe local neighborhood with long-term professional neighbors. We have finished building new steps

Ritz-Please do not expect perfection-We just had a problem with some guests who shopped around for the cheapest vacation home for what we offer in puerto rico-then they got upset that there was a power outage & sometimes low water pressure-sometimes you may not have hot water if there is no sun (solar)- -you might see a bug-you might see some dirt-this is the caribbean-things like this happens-go & pay the price at a hotel if you can't handle an occasional problem-in other words, if you are fussy, you will not like us-we are clean but not spotless-the ocean breeze brings in a lot of dirt-being on the ocean rusts & deteriorates things very quickly-when there is a big storm, water will come in some windows & a couple of vents (can't be helped-happens to most oceanfront homes) but staying on the ocean is awesome-the sound of the waves lull you to sleep-we were planning on moving to this paradise of puerto rico-there has been some construction started but has been stopped (permit problem)-we just want people to have the proper expectation of our home-
we have a no smoking policy for the comfort of our future guests-
Our home is a ten-minute drive to world-class golf, beautiful hotels, and very central to the island's many tourist attractions-
We have a 5 night minimum-we feel
that we are the best value on the island for what we offer-the $100
price is per unit & not for the entire home-if you need to sleep
10, the rate is $200 a night for the whole house-
we live in michigan & now retired -someday it would be
wonderful to live in puerto rico-we really love it & the people-we spend our time
with our grandchildren & our dog & cat-we are very easy to reach so feel free

my first husband al & I had been going to dorado puerto rico for about 25 years for vacations-dorado was always our
best city to stay at as it's so close to san juan without all of the congestion-we always rented
a condo or apartment for a month-a friend told us about this home for sale on the ocean & we just
fell in love with it-we had no idea about turning it into a vacation rental but we had to pay the
bills-we could not believe how it is an 12 month destination & so many people want to go to the
area-we get 3 to 5 inquiries a day-of course we have it priced very fairly & that helps-we don't
want it just sitting there vacant-
we really love our home & we are sure you will also-we also want you to have a realistic expectation of our home-it is far from perfect-when we are there we are constantly working on it-we are not for everyone.....
the salt water tears a home apart-the big storms will bring water in the windows & some vents (I heard it happens to most of the homes on the ocean)-our manager is
diligently working to keep the home nice-it will not be spotless (hotel clean)-that's impossible
on the ocean-if you are fussy, please go to a hotel or somewhere more expensive-you will love
being right on the ocean-nothing like it-our neighborhood is really special we feel-there are
roosters a block away-there are horses walking around-there is an iguana in our yard sometimes-
We had an awesome time. it was relaxing and quiet. I'll be contacting you again in two years when we return to Puerto Rico.

What a perfect place. Not only was the villa exactly as described, staying in Dorado was ideal for getting around the island. In our group was my Wife, me and 3 children in their early 20's. We all stayed in the upper unit comfortably. Although we have stayed at all inclusive places in the Caribbean before but we prefer the freedom and independence that staying in a complete apartment affords. And that was just what we achieved. They had everything there that we could have wanted. It was clean and well equipped. Equal to how great the place was, I can't say enough about the owner, Diana and onsite manager, Jessica. Both went the extra mile to make certain that our stay was perfect. And it was. This is, by far, the best value that I saw on the island, and I did a great deal of research. Thank you Diana and Jessica for everything.
We just got back from a Christmas trip where we stayed in this house. We had a great time. The house was just as described, clean but well-lived-in. We had 10-12 people at various times during the week, so we had to add a blow-up bed and sofa or two, but the young adults could handle that. It sleeps 10 if you put 2 on one of the bigger fold-aways, but that would probably be best for children. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen facilities were there if we had wanted to use them. What we really enjoyed was the beautiful ocean at our doorstep. We loved looking at the ocean from the balconies and the rooftop. Several of us went swimming right outside of the house, but that is for the brave. There were other beaches within easy walking distance. The house is centrally located on the northern coast, so we could go east to El Yunque, west to Rincon, or take the Catano ferry to San Juan quite easily. We liked the fact that it is in a regular neighborhood rather than a touristy section of the city. The manager, was very nice and gave us some good tips. A very nice vacation.
I am a bit late in writing this review but felt I should write it anyways. My husband and I rented the top unit of Diana's home in March 2014. Diana on our initial conversation wanted to make sure I was aware that this is a beach house and is not perfect. I wasn't looking for perfect. I wanted an inexpensive but beachside place to stay. She also called as soon as we arrived and wanted to make sure everything was ok. Amy who manages the property locally lives right next door and was able to reached for any questions and to check out. The top floor is spacious and had I wanted to throw a dinner party for 10 people I could have. The kitchen is not huge but completely functional and worked for what little time we spent in there. The living room furnishings are dated, but comfortable. The windows, oh the windows!!! That beautiful sunlight streams in and its amazing. The balconies are small, but when all your doing is staring at the ocean do you need anything more?! The bedroom had plenty of linens and a seating area, the bathroom was big and clean. With having the windows and doors open we never needed the air and fell asleep every night listening to waves crash. My husband loved the rooftop oasis, almost every night he enjoyed sitting up there. The view is spectacular. The only drawback is we got stuck in traffic one day just outside Dorado coming back from the Bacardi plant. We sat for more than an hour. If I remember correctly Diana mentions something about the traffic in one of her many brochures, pamphlets, and binders. There was a pretty significant amount of cleaning and laundry to be done prior to checkout, but for the price we were happy to accommodate. I would stay here again, it was close enough to the major highways, but far enough that when the sun goes down all you hear is the waves.
My family and I stayed in the beach home for a week from 7/3-7/10/14. Our family had a great vacation. The home was nice, roomy, clean and equipped with everything needed. The view of the beach is beautiful. We are definitely looking forward to next year.
I had a wonderful time staying at Diana and Al's beach house. So relaxing just as they describe it. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a getaway. I plan on revisiting.
