Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday villa in Costa Nova - Villa Cilantro
A single level, 3-bed, 2-bath villa in a quiet residential location
This traditional, single-level Spanish villa is in an excellent and sunny position on a quiet residential road. The large (10m x 5m) private swimming pool is at the front of the villa, surrounded by a tiled patio and mature palm, yucca and lemon trees and other shrubs; with an outdoor shower facility and portable barbecue. The villa has an established side and rear garden with lawns, and an additional patio area for catching the late evening sun. The garden is not overlooked on any side of the villa. On the top of the villa is an additional sun-deck with views to the sea and surrounding mountains. Inside the villa are 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double with en-suite shower/WC (new in April 2009). The kitchen is also brand new and ready in April 2009. The open plan dining/lounge area has two new leather sofas (2 and 3-seater). There are numerous games and books, and the lounge has a DVD player and a new flat screen TV/video with a good selection of movies. Satellite dish installed in 2010.

About Kate Gardner
My sister lives in Javea and has been a dentist here for over 16 years. When I took my husband to visit - he fell in love with the area and we decided to buy a villa so that we could regularly holiday in Javea.
Kate Gardner purchased this villa in 2001
Why Kate Gardner chose Costa Nova
It had everything we wanted from a villa - crystal clear swimming pool, quiet location close to local amenities and beaches. Perfect sized living accommodation for our family...we enjoy it every time we visit. With the recent updates (April 2014) we believe the villa is even more a home from home...a great option for a long winter let. Enjoy new heating, double glazing, ceiling fans & outside furniture. Perfect!!!
What makes this villa unique
The location of the villa means that there is often a cooling breeze off the sea - a relief in the hottest summer months - and a surprising view of the sea and Montgo from the roof terrace. We love lazing on a blanket in the shade of the trees in the back garden - and really enjoy the outside shower during the summer months!
Guestbook comments from the owner
We found this to be a perfect location for a relaxing easter break. The unseasonably hot weather made it all the more enjoyable and we could even have a brisk swim in the pool - it was 19-20 degrees most days which is fresh but we had the sun to warm us up. The new central heating was really welcome on the first few evenings when the sun had gone down - warmed up very quickly - and lovely hot showers too. The villa had everything we need for a very comfortable stay and feels very well cared for -- it felt very secure and peaceful...with virtually no traffic at all. The pool was sparkling as advertised and the sunbeds very comfortable..
We loved the walk to the viewing spots and the steps down to the rocks - great for jumping in on a calm day...and being keen open water swimmers we swam a mile across to Grenadella bay from here on a day when the sea was flat calm (we were wearing wetsuits!). We did a lovely walk to the castle - more stunning views! The local Spanish restaurant Los Amigos you recommended to us was fab - for 8.50 euros we had a 3 course meal with a beer or wine - it was well used by the locals (always a good sign) and very authentic - especially the paella on Friday...Great little German bakery a few minutes walk with lovely selection of croissants & pastries & baguettes plus some really good rye breads..good for a top up of general groceries (a bit pricey for a big shop).
We will definitely come and stay again. Many thanks!
