The place called 'Macabou' lies between Vauclin and Marin, 2 neighboring towns.
The Vauclin is a fishing village whose life is punctuated by two main activities: agriculture and fishing. In town, small shops, restaurants and snacks will welcome you. You will find including fresh fish, vegetables and a variety of countries local fruits.
Pointe Faula, mecca water activities, offers a swimming area as original shallow and calm, bordered off by a coral reef which thus forms a beautiful lagoon.

A few hundred yards away is the town of Marin whose magnificent bay is a modern marina, shopping malls, pharmacies and medical centers situated.
In Macabou, 2 beautiful beaches stretch along the shore: the Grande Anse and Petite Anse, twin sisters who offer both relaxing bath and invigorating.
For the more adventurous, a coastal path with a length of 5 km takes you to the CAP MACRE where white sand beaches and lush vegetation welcome you with great color contrast.
You will be able to bask in the shade of coconut palms, sea grapes, almond and pear. The white sand is often highlighted by a beautiful plant grazing dotted with small purple flowers locally named 'potatoes edge-de-mer.
This walk can be done on foot, horseback or quad. Protect themselves from the sun and drink prove essential.
