Fall foliage is exceptional. Take walks around the quiet lake roads or the local beaches.

Curl up with a book, be lazy, enjoy a tranquil time away from your normal hectic pace. Enjoy the quiet before the summer or colder months.
The house is a white cedar log cabin with three bedrooms (plus additional sleeping loft with 2 full length twin beds) and two full baths downstairs.
The master bedroom has its own en suite bathroom (1 of 2 in the cabin) and incredible lake views.

Incredible lake views from most rooms which also have cathedral log ceilings. Spectacular sunsets from your own private dock with built-in seating, or the two slate patios- breathtaking, unobstructed lake scenes.

The four-season lakefront family room has a cathedral log ceiling and 8 large windows looking out to the lake.

On warm days, have drinks on the dock or one of two slate patios (one with outdoor fireplace, picnic table and gas grill), without the sound of jet skis or motor boats (the Lake Association doesn't allow any boat engines over ten HP- usually there are just the bass fishermen with their electric motors).

Famous location for bass fishing (either from your own dock or on the lake) - boats: rowboat, two canoes, 6 kayaks-1 double kayak- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

All the modern amenities in a rustic log cabin: dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV on flat screen HD TV, DVD and stereo with CD player, high speed wireless internet- there is no land line.
In addition to box fans we have 3 ceiling fans and 3 air conditioners.
Two zone heat for the cooler months.

We do NOT provide bed linens or towels. We have kitchen towels and hand towels and bath mats for the baths.

Why drive all the way to Maine to get away from everyday life when you can relax in an authentic log cabin on Indian Lake in half the travel time. Spectacular fall foliage.

Beautiful spot
This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful spot, right on a lake, with canoes and kayaks right there. The property is kept up really nicely. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful retreat, just minutes from the Rhode Island beaches.

Charming Cabin on the Lake
We enjoyed every minute at this charming cabin located lakefront on Indian Lake. The owners were so communicative and made check in and out easy and welcoming. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and is comfortable, clean and cute! The dock is perfect for fishing, swimming and launching boats that the owners have supplied. There’s a large grass with area with Adirondack chairs for relaxing, a fireplace, and a picnic table for enjoying the outdoors. We had an excellent experience and can’t wait to return!

Awesome Beach Rental
If you are looking for a fun, relaxing vacation in Rhode Island, do yourself a favor and rent this cabin. It is the complete package - whether you want to play in Indian Lake and swim, use the kayaks, floats, and toys, or just sit in the Adirondack chairs or on the dock and relax and watch the sunsets, it's all there. The location is perfect for exploring all the beaches and restaurants in South County or taking a short ride to Newport or Providence. The cabin is well stocked and is extremely comfortable. I also can't say enough good things about Val and Pam. They are easily accessible by email or phone and very helpful. This is our second time renting this cabin and we are looking forward to another great vacation there in the coming years.

Why they chose this property

Lakefront is all about watching the water- when you get up, when you have your coffee on the dock, on the patio, and sitting watching the sunset over the lake. Water in front of you all the time.

What makes this property unique

There is nothing like a swim at the beach and then coming home to a swim at the lake. In fact, sometimes you never want to leave the lake- swim, kayak, fish, and just relax and watch the sunset.
