Newly renovated for 2010 ski season, for 10-12 people, self catering.

Chalet Cristalliers is a luxury traditional chalet in Chamonix town centre. Set in its own grounds with ample private parking, its sunny, southerly facing aspect gives magnificent views of the Mont Blanc massif. Five en suite bedrooms provide super king or twin beds for up to 10 people. Features include open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen with satellite HD TV, Surround Sound Hi Fi, BlueRay, Wi-Fi, open log fire, heated boot room, parking for 3 cars, private garden with luxury hot tub/jacuzzi and south facing terrace. Located in the traditional La Frasse area of Chamonix town, it is within walking distance of the nursery slopes, which include green, blue and red runs. Other ski lifts within Chamonix town access the ski areas of Brevant and Flegere. Less than a 2 minute walk away from the chalet is a ski bus stop which provides access to all ski areas in the Chamonix Valley. It is a 5 minute walk to the Market Square, bars and restaurants, swimming pool, ice skating rink and cross country skiing.

Chalet position - great really enjoyed being able to walk to town and forest walks.

Ski buses stop close.

Transfer for airport - great.



Accommodation - great, overall bedding, robes superb.

If someone is more than 6 foot tall, maybe allocate them to bedrooms other than the eaves room, as all the other ensuites have a higher shower height.



The kitchen for me cooking everyday was good lots of utensils and plates etc.

Jacuzzi great and fire every night made it so cosy.

Majestic setting!

I love the location as it is central, 5 mins walk to town yet peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views of majestic mountains. Chalet is impeccably clean, stylish and has all home comforts including great kitchen, games, TV and spa. Comfortable beds with silky cotton sheets. Lots of exciting stuff to do in the location.

We are on holiday from Australia travelling to four different countries and this has been our best week. Thank you to the hosts who have been very helpful in answering all queries.

Beautiful chalet with wonderful views.

An excellent holiday at Chalet Cristalliers. Good quality comfortable furniture and fittings. Ample matching crockery and cutlery. Wonderful views from the lounge and upstairs bedrooms, which were good sized, with very comfortable beds, luxury bedding and well fitted out.
An easy walk into town via the micro brewery at the end of the road and a short distance to the bread chalet just around the corner.
Loved the hot tub with breathtaking views of the Aiguille du Midi and the mountain range. Bliss!
Highly recommend this chalet.

Wonderful chalet set very close to town centre

First class spacious accommodation with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was a real treat at the end of the day. There were 11 of us in the party & it was great to be able to sit together around the dining table.

Beds very comfortable but the 11th bed was a blow up full height air mattress which we felt would be more suitable as a bed for a child rather than an adult.

The local brewery was a 5 minute walk & the beer & food were delightful.

The owners were very helpful during all correspondence. We would certainly recommend the chalet, as it provided a wonderful base for our family get together.

Fantastic place in the heart of Cham, dont miss!

Just got back, the house is basically perfect for any large group (we were 10 including 6 kids). Great location, well maintained, i sincerely doubt whether theres anything as good as this for the price in the middle of Chamonix.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Chalet Christalliers. We had a great week, in a really beautiful place. The location is fantastic and only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Jayne was extremely helpful throughout the booking process, even sending a list of suggestions for different places and restaurants to visit around the area. 8 of us visited the Restaurant La Caleche on the final night as per the suggestions..really great experience and food. Many thanks.

terrific experience

We had a terrific experience. It was exactly as promised. The location was perfect -- just on the outskirts of town so it made for a nice 10-minute walk back home after dinner in the center of Chamonix. Great to have consistency across all the rooms (each with its own bathroom, TV, etc.). Kitchen had everything you need. Only downside was that the bottom two rooms have less sunlight because they are partially below ground, but for late morning sleepers that could be a good thing. Overall, I highly recommend this rental.

The Chamonix valley stretches for about 10 miles around the foot of Mont Blanc. The valley is home to the town of Chamonix itself in the centre as well as a number of communes including Les Houches & Argentière at either end. Chamonix is a world famous mecca for winter sports. Off piste opportunities abound. There are two areas solely for beginners whilst the chalet is centrally located between the four main ski areas of Flegère, Brevent, Grands Montets and Le Tour giving something for everyone. If conditions permit try tackling the unforgettable off piste run down the Mer de Glace from the 3842m peak of the Aiguille du Midi. From May to September there are a multitude of activities for the active visitor. Try paragliding, white water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing or simply hike or stroll along the pathways and take in the spectacular scenery.
