TroutChasers Cabin - Gallatin River Fly Fishing

*We welcome traveling nurses and other professionals for mid and long-term stays.*

A getaway that's not far away ~

Go from fishing a private stretch of the Gallatin River to dining on Bozeman's Main Street in 20 minutes!

[Twenty minutes to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), Montana State University, and Museum of the Rockies. Forty five minutes to either Bridger Bowl or Big Sky Ski Resort. A beautiful one and a half hour drive through the Gallatin Canyon to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park - a great day trip!]

Our three bedroom/three bath guest cabin (max. occupancy: 6 adults; 6 children) sits on 30 acres (shared with our other accomodations) - with the picturesque Gallatin River (and Cottonwood Creek and a small spring creek) running through the property; the Spanish Peaks offers a majestic backdrop in one direction - the Bridger Range in the other.

**We welcome up to six adults plus children at our guest cabin. Please reach out with any questions. For larger groups, additional accommodations are available in our neighboring Lodge. Contact us for further information.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is stocked with ample dishware, glasses, silverware, tea pot, pots and pans. There is also a supply of kitchen staples and condiments such as flour, sugar, oil, spices, dressings, coffee, tea, microwave popcorn, and canned goods. The freezer has an ice maker, and ice packs are provided for coolers and day trips.

Small appliances include coffee pot, microwave, crock pot, blender, toaster, and hand-mixer. The kitchen sink has a garbage disposal.

The high-top kitchen table has seating for six, and a child's booster seat (that may be strapped onto a chair) is provided.

LIVING ROOM:
The living room has large windows that face west to take in views of beautiful sunsets, the large yard and pond, and the wildlife that regularly makes its way through the property. Leather arm chairs & sofa provide seating, and a gas fireplace warms the cool evenings (there is an AC to cool the summer days). There is a large flat screen TV with Roku.

Games, toys, cards, and books are also provided.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS:
Each of the three bedrooms has two queen beds, AC, a gas fireplace, and satellite television. The bathrooms have an over-sized vanity and tub/shower combo. Soap, shampoo, lotion, toilet tissue, hair dryer, and all towels/linens are provided.

There is a Pack n' Play available to use for small children.

(The two ground-floor bedrooms have their own private entrance and porch as well.)

OTHER AMENITIES:
There is a washer/electric dryer (with detergent provided) located in an upstairs closet.

OUTDOOR SPACES:
The deck has an over-sized gas BBQ, and there are two full-sized picnic tables on the lawn with a shade umbrella a few steps from the grill.

There is also a flower and vegetable garden with a chicken coop that houses the hens that provide fresh eggs.

Resident horses love when guests visit and say hello.

We welcome and encourage guests to take the short walk (approximately 200 yards) down to the Gallatin River to enjoy the scenery or to cast a line (catch & release fly fishing only, please).

There is a one-room, rustic, custom-built cabin on the banks of the Gallatin River/Cottonwood Creek for guests to relax in and enjoy the property. In addition, there is an outdoor fire pit and seating for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the beautiful evenings.

*We are happy to offer flexible check-in and check-out times if our booking calendar allows.

**We do welcome dogs, but please ensure that they are not barking incessantly and disturbing other guests; please utilize a bark collar if needed.

Hope to stay again
My husband, 24 year old daughter and I joined my son (a Bozeman resident) for a trip before Thanksgiving, We had a great time fly fishing, going into Bozeman and just hanging out watching movies. Location and set up of the house/fishing cabin were perfect. Hope to do this next year.

Great Vacation
We had a great 10 day stay. Cabin was very well equipped and conveniently located but still off the beaten path. Loved having the small warming cabin down by the Gallatin and the fire pit. Having private fishing waters was also a definite plus.

50th Birthday Girls Trip
The home was very clean and had most of the amenities listed (pack your body wash, conditioner). Only downside for our group is the photos from the website are misleading. The cabin looks to be all on its own with nothing around it; however, the lodge is literally 20 feet from the front porch. Not a huge deal for us but we thought we were a bit further away. Did not deter us from enjoying our stay.

Since 2004, Jason & Julie have owned/operated Montana TroutChasers Lodge & Fly Fishing Outfitters. Why they chose this property
