Our family stay in London - ref:97529
My family and I stayed in Flat no.4 (apartment 36), end of May 2010. The flat was lovely, had recently been refurbished and was very comfortable. The area is very quiet, although you are near Kings Cross station you can not hear the trains at all. It is only a 5/10 min walk from Kings Cross and very easy to find. The flat its self is on the top floor (the stairs are not very wide and there is six floors to climb up but only about 6/7 steps per floor), although you have other people in the flats below you again you can not hear them at all. The flat contains all the facilities you would have in your own house, and all of top quality. The bathroom is lovely with a spa bath, very relaxing, the beds are very comfortable and the living room is larger than it looks on the photos.
The television is on the wall but it swings round so that you can watch it from the living room sofas (which are large sofa beds and again very comfortable).
There was plenty of bedding and towels and the flat was very warm.
There is a tesco's just round the corner and a little shop and cafe two doors away from the flat, also plently of takeaways.
All the tubes can be accessed from Kings Cross station and to get to the centre of London (zone 1) took about 5 mins - there is also a post office opposite the station were you can book the tour buses from.
I would recommend this flat to anyone, its much better than a hotel, more room and better value for money by far, the owners are very helpful and very easy to talk with.
There was 5 in my family and we all had plenty of room, the children loved it and my and husband and I felt very relaxed after a long day walking round London - worth every penny!!!
