Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday villa in Bangtao beach - Your Own Private Paradise
This is luxury: private villa, own pool, close beach, spa, tropical garden.
This luxurious three bedroom villa, built to impeccable European standards, is located at The Residence Resort & Spa. It is located just 20 minutes from the airport and a two minute stroll from unspoiled BangTao Beach which many consider the best as well as the longest beach in Phuket.
The villa is set in a lush tropical walled-garden in a very private resort setting. It includes your very own large private swimming pool, upper level sala, an indoor Jacuzzi, A/C, surround sound music, a touch pad central control entertainment system, a safe, a phone and wi-fi..
The interior finish can only be described as pure luxury and no expense has been spared on the quality fixtures and fittings. The living room has direct garden, deck and pool access. The upper level sala is ideal for BBQ, outdoor dining and entertaining.
The villa is professionally managed with maid service and room service available. The resort offers instant access to a modern gym, spa and a private beach resort.
Pampered Luxury in Quiet Seclusion: The Residence is a World Class, 5 Star resort with on-site spa, gym and restaurant. The Villa itself is tucked-away behind a beautiful walled-garden with palms, exotic tropical plants and a step-over lotus pool, providing complete seclusion and privacy. The stunning living area opens up to the pool as the glass walls slide away. The bedrooms are beautifully equipped in traditional Thai style but with a modern and very artistic feel. The bathrooms are elegant with a jacuzzi and both indoor and outdoor showers. You'll find hi-fi in every room, flat screen TV with cable, wireless internet and a third bedroom that can be used as an office if needed. The flat roof incorporates a BBQ and a sala for outdoor entertaining. Room service is available from early 'til late.
Bang Tao: the best beach in Phuket: Bang Tao is truly breath-taking, with some 8 kilometers of uncrowded white sand beach lined with palm trees. The water is crystal clear and warm enough to swim at all times of the year.
Just imagine yourself taking the Residence jitney down to the beach, spending the morning perfecting your tan and slipping in and out of the sea. Freshly caught sea food with a mango smoothie for lunch and you begin to understand why this resort is home-away-from-home to the rich and famous.
Very close by you'll find all the comforts of home. There's a Tesco supermarket at 500 meters for all your self-catering needs. Close by you'll find major hotels, restaurants, antique shops, spas and Thai massage. Or you could ride a horse on the beach, go para-sailing or jet skiing at nearby Surin beach, the kids will love Phuket FantaSea and the elephant rides while Mum can indulge in a spa treatment.
Tired of all this relaxation? The legendary night life of Patong is just a short drive away.
When to come: The best time to visit Phuket is during the cool NE monsoon season, from November through March when the cool breezes keep things comfortable. The average temperature is around 75F to 89F (24C to 32C).
The hottest time is from April through May with temperatures ranging from 80F to 95F (27C to 36C). There are frequent short heavy thundery showers, offering welcome relief from the temperature and humidity. The Thai New Year occurs (Songkran Festival) on April 13th and everyone sprinkles (or throws) cool water on each other.
Locals enjoy June, July and August since the weather is usually fine and our favourite haunts remain uncrowded. The usual pattern is brief but heavy showers, with plenty of sunshine between the rain. Temperatures range between 70F and 90F (20C to 33C).

Why Bob Godfrey chose Bangtao beach
Well I just love Phuket and this villa. Phuket because the Thai people are so great, the food is amazing and the beaches are to die for. This villa because it is totally private behind a high-wall with a beautiful garden and my very own swimming pool. What's not to like?
What makes this villa unique
The thing that makes this villa so great is partly that it is in and of itself beautiful, the large swimming pool is good for lounging and lap swimming, the garden is gorgeous and I love the flat roof with outdoor sala which is great for a BBQ. The fact that it is located in The Residence Resort means there is a spa and restaurant on site. My Own Private Paradise.
