My family of 9 and I, ages from 2 to 62, planned our holiday in February '12, this commenced with Grant being a great assistance with the decision making process by advising on the location of Sunny Daze, its proximity to the theme parks and of course the facilities in the villa itself. All of this information lead us to book the accomodation from 23rd May to 6th June '12.
Upon our arrival at West Haven it was very clear the decision was a good one with a security gate ensuring the safety of our loved ones. The villa is located overlooking a conservation area which is ideal for families requiring the privacy that was not always available in the huge villages where we've stayed previously in Davenport.
The 7 younger members of the family loved the pool and made great use of the water whilst the adults sat watching them through a glass or two of appropriate thirst quenching liquid!!
Our visits to Universal Studios, Islands of Aventure, Sea World, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Magic Kingdom were a joy although very tiring. The children loved the princesses, Mickey and Minnie, Spiderman, Harry Potter et al, returning to such comfort within Sunny Daze at the end of long days to "crash out" in the superb accomodation.
The local Publix gave us the opportunity to eat in and use the spacious kitchen as and when required using the two dining rooms as we so wished.
We used the Wifi facility to contact family members by Skype almost on a daily basis and for the grandchildren to see their parents was an important part of the holiday.
Having planned the holiday and use Sunny Daze proved to be a really good decision and the desire of the children to stay longer is testiment to the facilites and accomodation. Grant and Beth have a lovely home away from home and it is highly likely that we will be returning to Balmoral Drive once we've rested up sufficiently to recover from the last two weeks.
We highly recommend Sunny Daze to any large family or couples who want a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
