A three storey house, very spacious with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms,.

Our house is situated a few minute stroll into the centre, near the Pousada. One of the benefits is how easy it is to find when arriving in Tavira being opposite the fire station with nearby parking available even in peak season.

The codominium is situated on the corner of the main road of Rua dos Bombeiros & Rua Antonio Viegas. The condominium is made up of townhouses & apartments in a private courtyard, & mainly residential. The house entrance is within the courtyard.

The house is roomy, tastefully furnished & has a spacious lounge with a dining table, leading onto a large kitchen . Just off the kitchen is a patio area which is ideal for al fresco eating.A terrace on the top floor is ideal for a relaxing time in the sun.

Tavira, steeped in history, is an ideal base from which to discover this lovely part of the Algarve. Tavira has it all !

Many local good value and quality restaurants are within easy walking distance, indeed a car is not required to get around the town.

Golf Details: The Eastern Algarve is becoming a must visit area for golf. There are now 6 courses within a 30 minute drive with green fees from 40 euros upwards. The sister courses of Quinta da Ria & Quinta da Cima are only a 10 minute drive away and are both delightful courses, unspoilt by developments and are quality layouts.

The new 'Jack Nicklaus' signature course at Monte-Rei is his first in Portugal and is destined to be one of the finest in Europe.

The Spanish border is only 20 minutes away with several courses within easy reach.The new Quinta do Vale course near Castro Marim, designed by Seve Ballesteros is well worth a visit-take plenty of balls as there are numerous water hazards to negotiate

Right in the centre of the Eastern Algarve's prettiest town, within 30 mins of the regions capital, Faro ,with its splendid shops and restaurants. The Ilha de Tavira beach is reached by water taxi where miles of unspoilt sand await you.Other lovely beaches such as Prai Verde, Barril, Mante Rota etc are only a short drive away. The Ria Formosa National Park is a gem for nature lovers, with bird life galore. For the golfers, this area is fast becoming a rival to the Western Algarve with top quality venues now open for play. The Spanish border is only 20 mins away by car and Seville can be reached comfortably within a 2 hour drive on quiet motorways.

Golf: Benamor Golf is 5 minutes away, the 36 hole complex of Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima & Monte Rei just a little further. The ever popular Vilamoura courses are only just over 30 minutes away.

Just off the kitchen is a patio area which is ideal for al fresco eating. On the first floor there is a courtyard facing bedroom with 2 twin beds & a Juliet balcony. There is a bathroom with bath, shower wash hand basin & bidet. The second floor has the bedroom to the rear, a slightly larger bathroom & the addition of a decent sized terrace with sunbeds overlooking the courtyard to chill out on...delightful!
