The Villa Mirabella is located in the heart of Conca dei Marini, a small original Italian village, away from the noisy tourism and near enough to the popular towns of the Amalfi Coast.
Amalfi and Positano are just a few kilometers away from your real estate.
The “Costiera Amalfitana” , like it is called by the Italians, has many hidden romantic places and at least as many secret stories to discover. Not without reason came and come all the VIPs to enjoy the “Dolce Farniente”-”Sweet Idleness”,the joviality of the locals, the good kitchen and also the unique views from everywhere you are.
The Villa Mirabella is a prestigious and exclusive Villa with a striking view over the sea, surrounded by verdant grounds and panoramic terraces, which present you the Coast from a beautiful side and let you rest your holidays as once the first ladies Jackeline Kennedy and Hilary Clinton or the famous actress Sophia Loren.
The Villa is accessible by a private entrance, this way leads you to the front gate and to the first of two levels. This wonderful real estate offers you different panoramic view terraces, a swimming pool and jacuzzi with massage jets. All of the seven bedrooms are furnished in an elegant baroque style and equipped with any modern comfort.
After the climb of 65 stairs, you arrive to the main gate and have access to a small avenue which accompanies you to the first terrace with panoramic swimming pool, outdoor shower and jacuzzi. You have here the possibility to relax on one of the deck chairs or get the real feel of magic when you see the famous sunset of Capri. You find on this level also three double bedrooms. Two of this bedrooms independent with adjoining bathroom and one of this two as superior bedroom with a small sitting room ,with the possibility to use a sofa bed. The third double bedroom is included in the main house of the villa, as well with bathroom. Each bedroom/bathroom is fully equipped with TV, air conditioning, heating, toilet, shower and washbasin.
The main house consists of a spacious terrace with big dining tables outside, an open dining-, living- and cooking-area inside also with dining table, chairs, sofa, TV, W-Lan, telephone,DVD. You arrive the second level about a couple of steps and pass a between flat with another possibility to sit down and enjoy . This second level of the Villa is composed as follows: three independent bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. This second part offers you a special covered canopy which invites you to watch the extraordinary panoramic and spend unforgettable hours under its roof.
Under the terrace of the main house is hidden another hall, this place is an service room and storage space. You find here a laundry and have enough place to stow your things.
Villa Mirabella is a wonderful, magical place, perfect for families and friends. Located in Conca Dei Marini, it is off the beaten path of the Amalfi coast, so it is quieter, more informal and more "authentic" than some of the region's better-known destinations. Still, it is an easy hop to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, etc. The accommodations are beautiful -- spotless, artfully decorated and spacious enough for a group of 14. Each room has its own entrance and bath and TV. The main house has two refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave in a charming kitchen. We made meals for 14, buying provisions from the small market down the hill and from the lovely butcher whose store is 20m from the villa entrance. Photos don't do justice to the beauty of the view. From the pool, from the dining patio, from the gazebo, you can see the beautiful sea and watch ships, ferries and yachts, and you can also see Capri. What truly sets Villa Mirabella apart is the love you will feel from the owners, Miriam and Antonio, whose friendly, excellent restaurant is, conveniently, just down the hill. No request is to large or small. Need transportation to Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, Naples? Done. Want an outdoor massage overlooking the sea? No problem. A boat to ferry you and your party to Capri? No sweat. A pizza-making lesson at the restaurant, led by the wonderful chef Fiore? Done. Miriam and Antonio became our friends, our family. And did I mention that there's a turf soccer field above the restaurant where the kids can play or pick up a game? Oh yeah, there's also a wonderful, funky beach club down the hill for swimming, sunning, dining and pretending you're one of the locals or Neapolitians out for the weekend. Convinced? I hope so.
Conca die Marini is a delightful town with all you could possibly need within easy walking distance. An excellent restaurant five minutes away, next to a well stocked market. Believe it or not there is a scale sized soccer field on top of the restaurant where players of all ages are welcome to join in games. There is a butcher across the street from the Villa
who could not be nicer or more accomodating.
The Villa itself is nothing short of spectacular! Whereas the website has plenty of pictures they really do not convey the real story. Seven nicely appointed bedrooms, with queen sized beds and seven bathrooms. Four rooms with sea views outside the door.
The common areas are perfect for large gatherings, we easily seated 11 adults and 4 children, on the terrace overlooking the sea. There are plenty of places to sit by the pool which is a wonderful well used amenity.
If there is a "rest of the story" it is the owners and manager; Miriam and Antonio. There is nothing they will not do to ensure your complete satisfaction. Miriam made reservations for activities, her recommendations of places to see and things to do were spot on.
This Villa stands on its own but the owners involvement makes it an "over the top experience".
If you're looking for to avoid crowds of tourists and be treated like royalty, look no further than "Villa Mirabella." It's the perfect setting for a multi-family vacation, configured so that each bedroom has its own bath and exterior entrance, with ample common space, so many outdoor lounging areas that we were still discovering some at the end of our week-long stay and spectacular views.
Conca dei Marini lacks the hustle and bustle of Amalfi or Positano but makes up for it by delivering peace, quiet, great beaches and a central location. Amalfi itself is within walking distance if you're ambitious.
We are experienced VRBO renters. What sets this property apart from others is the personal attention of Miriam and Antonio. While the normal VRBO experience is that someone shows up you the keys at the beginning of your stay, then disappears, Miriam was on the job all week, providing contacts for drivers, private beaches and boat charters. Meanwhile, we spent five of our seven nights in Conca dining at Le Bonta del Capo, the restaurant operated by Antonio's family.
Miriam and Antonio did not make us feel like renters; they made us feel like honored guests. Staying at Villa Mirabella (which we called "Villa Miriam") was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
