Apartment Apartment Blu: 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6

There were 9 of us travelling to Alghero for a family wedding and I came across these apartments - we ended up booking both Blu & Rosso Apartments and they were just perfect.

The location was great - a 10 minute walk to the old town (if you don't take the scenic route - but then again it's nice to go that way and take your time) ...
The apartments are so big and spacious - there was plenty of room for our group of 9 and we were not living in each other's pockets.

Having 2 bathrooms was great - especially on the morning of the wedding :)
Supermarket is just a couple of streets away and is so cheap.
The owners live downstairs and Carlo is so friendly - brought us up peaches a few days during the stay - they just leave you to it though ...

I would definitely recommend these apartments and hope to be back in the future.

This was our fourth trip in as many years to Alghero and our third time to stay in Apartment Blu. The apartment is spacious, bright, airy and is maintained in pristine condition by Senor Carlo and his wife who are very friendly and unobtrusive. The well proportioned balcony catches direct sunlight from midday to sunset. We find this side of Alghero more pleasant and peaceful than the Lido and enjoy the usually brilliant sunsets each evening on the short sea front walk to town. The apartment is well equipped and a SISA supermarket is close by. Free on street car parking available.

Our family has been travelling to Alghero for some years now and we have always rented apartments, most of which have been very disappointing. Finally we have found somewhere that has lived up to our expectations. The apartment is exactly as the description, better in fact! It is so big and spacious and absolutely spotlessly clean.
Located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, it is not noisy at all, especially as we spend so much time out on the balcony. Its only a 10 minute walk into the old town and there are some restaurants closer, particularly La Lanterna and Maristella and for a pizza in the old town you must try El Pultal.
The coastline is stunning and there's a small beach within five minutes walk, which we used a few times too
OK so there's no aircon, but we usually got a nice breeze running through the apartment.
The agent Ashley was very helpful and the owners who live downstairs are also very friendly and unobtrusive.
With our family the second bathroom is very useful.
All in all an excellent apartment, can't wait to go there again.
