Unusually large open plan apartment with high ceilings. There are 2 double beds (1 fixed on the mezzanine level accessed by ladder - ideal for youngsters or guest stop over), living area with TV and DVD player with selection of DVDs, dining area, built in wardrobes with sliding mirror doors, spacious hall, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom suite.

The apartment is located in a modern development with many amenities for residents only. These include a hotel style lobby entrance with concierge+CCTV for security, swimming pool with sauna, gym, table tennis table, great fun for all the family, communal garden and roof terrace; they are complimentary to the rent price.

To Secure the Booking: We require a 20% deposit to secure the booking. Once the deposit is received your requested dates will be marked as 'Unavailable' to any further inquiries.

Perfect apartment!

We (family with kids aged 5 and 7) just atayed for 3 nights in this perfect apartment. It was very comfortable and fully equipped and located perfectly (very near a Circle Line underground station, near a Central Line Station and buses). The kids loved the leisure options after a day full of sight seeing.

The owner Sue send very useful information about the apartment, the neighbourhood (supermarkets, restaurants) and transport to us on our first enquiry. She responded quickly to questions and welcomed us on our day of arrival to hand over the keys. She was very kind and helpful.

We can certainly recommend this apartment!

Nice location and condition, spacious and clean, exactly as described

We are a group of 4 ladies for a 10-day sight-seeing trip. Sue and David were very helpful and accommodating when we booked our stay. Tracey the apartment manager was on time and waiting for us when we arrived. She even walked out to meet us on our way from the tube station.

Farringdon Tube and railway station is about 5 minutes walk away. There is a bus stop just outside the building door across the road. Neighbourhood is quiet. There is a small Sainsbury just 2 minutes up the road, and a Tesco Express and post office across from Farringdon tube. There are several casual eateries within 5 minutes walk.

The apartment is very clean and very spacious for four of us. It looked exactly like the pictures. All four of us slept on separate beds - one on each double bed, I slept on the chair bed, and another slept on the spacious sofa. She was about 5'6" and she was happy on the sofa. I would recommend Sue and David to consider a sofa bed instead of the really nice sofa though. That would be even better.

The kitchen is fully functional with everything you need. Utensils, pots pans and dishes, a full size fridge, washing machine, heated clothes drying rack. There is even a scale to help with weighing your luggage. The hot water in the bathroom is very hot and we always had enough hot water for all 4 ladies with long hair taking showers. I recommend Sue and David to consider adding a small shopping cart or bag with wheels. It would be very helpful for grocery shopping for longer stays.

The swimming pool is just outside the apartment corridor, but unfortunately the hot tub in the building's swimming pool seemed to be permanently closed. We tried taking showers in the swimming pool change room but the change room did not have good hot water.

It is very close to the street, so street and car noise was quite noticeable when we opened the windows. We closed the windows and turned on the ceiling fan during the night to have a quiet sleep. We stayed in the Autumn so closing the windows was okay for us. We are not sure how it would work out in the summer.

I'd definitely recommend staying in this apartment. It can easily fit 5 people. Thank you very much Sue, David and Tracey for making our vacation very memorable, nice and comfortable.

very very nice and pleasant appartment

Very beautiful and big apartment, very well situated (by bus, 15 minutes of St Pancras's station). Quite equipped, very clean, comfortable, with beautiful swimming pool in the residence. Very kind welcome of Sue, David and Tracey. We strongly recommend this rent. We enjoyed and will come back as soon as possible !!!

a very good stay

we had a very good time at Herbal Hill. The flat is nice, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the leisure facilities in the building. The location is good. Only one little problem : the temperature is a bit too high in the mezzanine bed. We would recommend this property to any London visitor.

Great apartment in central location.

Our family of two adults and boys aged 15 and 9 enjoyed a great holiday in London, with the Herbal Hill Gardens flat as our base. Tracey met us on arrival and was a great source of local information. We used the swimming pool and table tennis table every day and we were able to walk or catch a bus to Central London or to Upper St, Islington. Many great places to eat nearby, including at Exmouth Market. We recommend this flat as an ideal base for exploring London.

The building is located in the Clerkenwell Road between the West End and the City. It is ideally placed for sight seeing, shopping, or to visit London's many cultural attractions. The nearest stations are Chancery Lane on the Central Line and Farringdon (Circle, Hammersmith & City lines, with direct trains to Gatwick and Luton airports). Euston, Kings Cross and the Euro Star terminal at St Pancras are all within easy reach. Within 10-20 minutes walk you can be strolling along the Thames, visit Tate Modern, walk along the Strand, hunt for bargains in Covent Garden or visit the world famous opera. Russel Square and the British Museum are a short walk away as are the Angel, Islington, the Barbican, the Museum of London and St Pauls Cathedral. There are many restaurants, bars and pubs in the vicinity plus a wide range of grocery shops and convenience stores plus a daily street market for all your needs.
