Aloha and welcome to our piece of Hawaiian paradise! It is located in the beachfront complex Islander On The Beach located in Kapa'a, Kauai, HI. They are located on six lushly landscaped oceanfront acres. Each condo features a balcony/lanai where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and complete or partial ocean views and are only a few strides away from a private beach.

We also have a handful of other oceanfront and ocean view units available if the featured property, #345, is not available.

Each unit was renovated in 2005 by being stripped to the concrete block walls and completely redone with travertine flooring throughout, granite countertops and all new appliances. The mattresses are the most comfortable we've ever slept on and have had many renters tell us how comfy they were! Other amenities differ in each unit so please click on the links to the left to see what each unit has to offer.

Soak up the sun in the ocean-side pool, or relax in the Jacuzzi while sipping a Mai Tai from the poolside Tiki Hut bar. There are also Weber BBQ grills by the pool free to use and laundry facilities onsite for your convenience.

Centrally located in the town of Kapa'a, you are 30 miles from both the north and south shores. The enchanting Wailua River and Fern Grotto are less than two miles from the complex where you can boat, hike, and/or kayak. You are also less than 200 yards from the Coconut Marketplace, which has over 50 specialty shops and restaurants.

Great Value for Oceanfront

We stayed in unit 323, an oceanfront corner unit. Loved the central location and view. Very quiet and clean unit. The Krellers are excellent to work with, always replying to questions immediately. Able to walk to restaurants- especially enjoyed Hukilau Lanai. Kapaa is a central location, easy to reach both north and south parts of the island. Recommend the Sleeping Giant Hike in Kapaa. Will stay again when we return to Kauai.

Great Kreller Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Islander in the Beach. We stayed in condo #160. We had a great view of the ocean from our lanai. The condo had everything we needed. It's just a basic room with a kitchenette but it met our needs and we weren't there on such a beautiful island to be sitting in the room! Brad was easy to work with and quick to respond to emails and questions. The whole process went flawlessly. We would stay again. There are some good little restaurants within walking distance of fhe condo and the Coconut Marketplace is right in front. Fun to just walk around and browse. We also loved the location. Quick 45min drive north and same to the south. We loved Kauai!

Fantastic Kauai life right here!

This is our second time staying in this property. We had everything we needed and than some. Love the view, friendly people and best location on the island to venture both ways! We hiked several times, biked the wonderful Ocean front path and kayaked the river. The beach is right outside to relax, whale watch and soak up the sun! Also a great bed is always top on my list as I travel for work and here it was!..We will be back!!!

Sunrise from the Lanai

We spent six wonderful days in this rental on Kauai, the condo was everything that we had been told it would be with the most wonderful views. The best part was being able to open the blinds in the morning and watch the sunrise and later on the whales. The owners were really easy to communicate with, answering my many questions and providing all the information we needed. Having a corner unit was an added bonus for the views and extra light in the condo. The location of the property was great in relation to shops, restaurants and attractions. Thank you Brad and Wendy for making our first visit to Kauai a special one. Aloha.

Paradise at Kreller's Getaway

This was our second trip to the Island of Kauai and our second time at the Islander on the Beach. This time we booked through Kreller's Getaway instead of through the hotel itself (save some money!). The owners/hosts are excellent to deal with. We stayed in room 320 which has a good ocean view. It is on the backside of the complex facing a garden area, so it is less noisy and more private. You are steps away from the beach and there are usually beach chairs available for your use. You have access to all the amenities that the hotel guests have with the exception of the DVD kiosk, but the good thing is that you don't have to pay the hotel's daily fee for internet and "free" DVD rental. There are rental kiosks available in the area at the local grocery stores. No Wi-Fi in this room, but have Ethernet available (tip: check in the nightstand for the yellow cable and it hooks in the back of the TV cable box.) You might also check with the owners as I discovered after our return that we may have had Wi-Fi available from the room next door, which is also one of the owner's rentals. Either way, you can use your laptop. At the time of our stay, there was a cooler, body-board, umbrella, and float noodle available on the lanai for use by current tenants. The location is central to almost everything you want to travel to on the island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

BEST LOCATION IN KAUAI!

Kreller's Islander on the Beach has to be the best location and value on the island, as the property is centrally located on the east side of Kauai and is less than a 15-minute drive from the airport. Making the location even more desirable is the fact that the property is midway from driving to the north and south shores of the island. The unit was even bigger and better than described or pictured and was absolutely beautiful, well appointed and clean! We especially enjoyed sitting on the large deck! Within a stone's throw was the parking lot, laundry, gas grills, pool and ocean! Walk through the parking lot to the Coconut Marketplace where you can enjoy food and shopping, and grocery needs were within a mile or two drive. The highlight of our trip was the Na Pali Coastline tour by catamaran. If this is on your "must do" list, then be sure to check with various charter services to see if they run during their winter months. Though we had a minor maintenance issue and needed to contact Brad, he couldn't have responded or got the issue resolved quicker if he were staying right next door! And how friendly and helpful he was! If you are searching for the perfect accommodations for your Kauai trip, you've just found it!
