Photos and Description of this 5 bedroom holiday home in Tywyn - Tyn y Berth Hall
5 bedrooms some en suite, bathroom, sleeps 4 to 12

Tyn Y Berth is a lovely grand old Country House with high ceilings and cornices, plenty of room and character. Set in over two acres of grounds, it has a lovely aspect with three sunny terraces, large gardens and a small wood.

The house is furnished with Victorian and Edwardian furniture and has high quality furnishings and bedding and Organic cotton towels. A dining room which seats 12 adjacent to the kitchen makes for a lovely group dining experience.

Inside the house we have a unique music room with a Baby Grand Piano, percussion and other musical instruments, books and games, dressing-up box so that you can have a creative time and won't even think about the TV!! but yes, there is a TV, DVD/video player. Outside provides a lovely large garden with a low ropes course constructed in a wooded area and for the summer a rather quirky outside bath is ready for those wanting to take a plunge. You have to be patient as the fire needs to be lit and then you wait for the water to warm up and then soak! Anew Boules court is being constructed for 2013.

Had great weekend celebrating my 60th with family rangeing from 18mths to 63yrs. Everyone enjoyed the garden, ping-pong in the outhouse, the bbq, football on the lawn, the music room - i can go on and on. Family gone we stayed on going walkings as good base for lots of walks and of course Cader Idris.
I would recommed this property for a relaxing fun holiday.

Great house with lots of fun extras!

Review Submitted: 24 February 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
We had a wonderful week here in February half term 2009, we being 2 families and a couple that visited for a few days. We loved the dressing up box and wardrobe of costumes for adults and children. Had fun with the instruments in the music room and appreciated the log fires and Victorian features. It has its own grounds and beautiful views. You can also walk straight from the house up a hill. It is beautifully presented and plenty warm enough. There was also a telescope, a microscope and paper to draw with. A great place to go and have fun with friends.

Dream House

Review Submitted: 25 November 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
I stayed here for a week in June 2008 along with my partner, son and a family of five friends and their two dogs.
It was a complete success,we loved the house and the fact that it appeared that the family had moved out and left us to look after their precious house,it was just so personal and special and made us feel completely at home. The bedrooms were all lovely and everything perfectly clean. We had a fire burning in the lounge every evening and the music room and dressing up box kept us amused for hours. We cooked every evening so cannot comment on restaurants but Machynlleth which is about 6 miles away is friendly town with a bit of eveything. We did go into a pub in the high street and the landlords Son gave us plenty of information on the local way of life here. If you want to holiday with good friends in a large comfortable happy family home then this is for you.
