The property is in a very convenient residential pocket with plenty of dining, nightlife and shopping just a short drive away. The major LA freeways (405 and 10) are both within 5 minutes making the rest of Los Angeles that much closer. Public transportation is also within walking distance of the apartment.

This apartment is the place you want to be if you're seeking a phenomenal value right near the beach for an extended visit, a romantic getaway, a surfer's weekend, or a family vacation. It can comfortably sleep 4 with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a large 'L' shaped sofa bed in the living room that converts to a full-sized mattress.
This remodeled, modern apartment is in a small, safe, 6-unit community. The building is conveniently situated off of S. Centinela Blvd, which connects Jefferson Blvd and Playa Vista to the south to Brentwood farther north.

So many attractions are right nearby - Mar Vista has a very cute Farmer's Market on Sunday mornings less than a mile from the apartment. The property is just outside the Santa Monica tourist zone, yet also convenient to it. Santa Monica with its numerous cinemas, dining and famous amusement pier, is located 15 minutes west. Venice Beach and its world famous boardwalk is located even closer, about 10 minutes west. The Getty Villa Museum is 15 minutes northwest, the Getty Center and UCLA are 15-20 minutes northeast. Drive north along Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu and its rugged coastline. It's gorgeous! Drive 50 minutes south to Disneyland, 45 minutes north to Magic Mountain, or 30 minutes northeast to Universal Studios.

We own the building and wanted to create a little vacation place for people that is modern, affordable, but nice so couples or families on a budget could enjoy Los Angeles and the beach!
The apartment is fully furnished and includes complimentary WiFi internet, cable TV, and one free designated parking space. There is a full sized kitchen with all the cookware you need to prepare meals, additionally, all the linens are provided in the apartment. If you have any questions about local attractions, restaurants nearby, or anything else, please feel free to contact our Property Manager and we will do our best to assist you.

They charged us 50 bucks for damage to towels. They said they were stained beyond repair? They apparently have never heard of bleach. I received a noise complaint from management when we were all fast asleep. The place was poorly stocked. There was construction going on every morning at 7 am. Bright and early we were all awoken to loud banging right outside the window. The parking was absolutely atrocious. On several occasions the crew had to enter the apartment when we were there. Solicitors were constantly calling the "land line". I wouldn't recommend this to anyone for the price. Terrible experience.
In that we do not know LA well, we were under the impression that the apartment was in a quiet neighborhood. The street noise was ever present, and the people upstairs awakened us during the night and were noisy in the morning. (There was a child in the family.) We used the fan to dull the street noise. The apartment was clean and met all of our needs. We were pleased to have a kitchen and the bath was fine. The bed was comfortable. We also thought that we would be in Santa Monica. We had used VRBO previously, and stayed in beautiful homes that were rented by families as opposed to by an agency. This was clean and well maintained, but not a place which I would recommend or return.
We were in LA for a wedding. We also went to the beach every morning and went to LACMA. We had a wonderful trip.
My family of four recently stayed in this great little apartment for a week while vacationing from Canada. It provided everything we needed and was very clean. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable! The owners of the apartment were very proactive as our arrival time approached. They contacted us about 2 weeks in advance with final instructions, a list of amenities and directions, which I thought was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!
We stayed 8 nights. It was just as pictures showed. Clean and well maintained. Was a great place to come back to and relax after exploring the big city every day. There is traffic noise, but it is the city, and you can hear people in next door apartments, but that is apartment living. Traffic noise died down as the evening went on and neighbors were quiet at bedtime. No trouble sleeping at all. One suggestion other VRBO properties have done we have stayed at was a binder with special instructions on how to use things in apartment (heating, AC, tv cable, wifi, etc) and suggestions on groceries stores, restaurants, etc in the area that you suggest using. Had a great time in the city but ready to go home to our quiet little town in Iowa.

My wife and I have just returned after 8 nights in one of these great apartments. The pictures represent it exactly although the actual apartment is slightly larger than you expect.
The apartment was very clean, with good facilities and was very secure. Air conditioning was a godsend! Although its a shared complex, you couldn't hear anyone else.
The location is good and the parking is a huge bonus. Its approximately 3 miles to the beach front and 1 mile to Culver City centre. We used the Number 1 bus to go to the beach front at night where there is a nice bunch of bars and restaurants. There was a really nice Mexican restaurant a minutes walk away (Casa Sanchez) - it had a great menu with live entertainment and I'd say it has quite an upmarket kind of menu, not your usual mexican fare. We went for our anniversary and really enjoyed it.
We would definitely stay here again as it represents absolutely fantastic value for money. As a base to explore it is superb. This was our second time in LA and we can't speak highly enough of the place. Thanks for sharing your apartment
