Luxury, Self catering six bed, five bath new house with pool, close to beach.

Stunning 6 bedroom ( four ensuite) house with large outdoor pool, situated within the urbanization of Audiencia, next to Praia Verde, in the unspoilt East Algarve, 15km from Tavira and 8km from Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Set among pine trees and close to all amenities the house is five minutes walk (250 metres)from the superb sandy beach and two restaurants and a cafe/bar. Casa Elouise is within a few minutes drive of five superb golf courses, including the new Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei course, and backs onto a national reserve of pine trees. Casa Elouise, laid out over three floors with large terraces overlooking the large swimming pool. In addition it boasts a roof terrace with views over the national park and towards the sea, and is luxuriously furnished throughout its six bedrooms, large living room and dining area, together with a large luxuriously appointed AEG, open plan kitchen. The linked house is air conditioned and is luxuriously furnished to a very high standard

The beautiful Ria Formosa!: The Ria Formosa in the Algarve is a beautiful labyrinth of lagoons separated from the sea by a coastal dune system which is broken up by various natural inlets. It is one of the most important nature reserves in the network of wetlands that links Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. The Ria has an enormous variety of natural habitats that provide refuge, feeding and breeding areas for an infinite number of flora and fauna and is a haven for birds.

The beaches of the isles of Faro, Barreta, Culatra, Armona and Tavira form a natural barrier to the Ocean. Behind are the dunes, sometimes just a narrow strip and sometimes wider and then come the labyrinth of lagoons and small sand islands and channels. At low tide other salty habitats are uncovered forming marches and salt marshes.

A wintering ground for many migratory birds. The Estuary has an enormous variety of natural habitats and biotopes that provide refuge, feeding or breeding areas for an infinite number of organisms.

Both Else and I worked in London for many years before deciding to seek warmer climes! We have two grown up children, now working in London and have been managing properties ( including two of our own) in the East Algarve for over seven years. We live nearby and are available for help or advice during you stay here.

Casa de Audiencia ia an exclusive village of around 250 large villa and houses, situated between the towns of Altura and Monte Gordo, and next to the well known Praia Verde Condominium. The area boasts two superb restaurants on the beach itself, and a cafe/bar. In addition, there is a local shop, bakery and pastelaria that sells all the basics, plus some superb Portuguese pastries! The beach is 4 minutes walk from the villa, through pine trees,and the beautiful unspoilt sandy beach stretches for miles, Nearby is the Rio Formosa, a nature reserve stretching 67 kilometres along the coast to Faro. The house backs onto a National Park, full of pine trees surrounding a beautiful unspoilt lake that is a magnet for wild birds and ducks. It is excellent for walking and cycling in. Notes

  • 25% non refundable deposit of full rental cost must be paid on booking. The remaining 75% of the full rental cost must be paid 4 weeks before the start of the rental period. A security deposit of £250 will also be taken at that time. This will be returned within one week of the end of the rental period, subject to any breakages and damage. Air conditioning is included in the rental price. However, excessive use of electricity will result in an additional charge, to cover this.
  • While we have cleaners who will come to thoroughly clean the house after your departure, we do ask that clients leave the house reasonably tidy, with the rubbish taken out and the dishes and crockery cleaned. The barbecue should also be cleaned. Failure to adhere to these conditions will result in a 20 euro cost which will be deducted from the security deposit
  • Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.
    We can organise a chef to come to the house and cook a portuguese meal for your family.

  • The three bedrooms on the first floor are all luxuriously appointed, with double, floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes and drawer space. They all have en suite facilities, and all have terraces, the two bedrooms to the back of the house, overlooking the National Park, and towards the sea.The master bedroom suite has full en suite facilities. Its French window opens onto a private patio space. The fifth bedroom has two single beds and a sofa bed with a pull out bed underneath and is ideal for children. The remaining luxurious double bedroom is on the ground floor. The owners live nearby and are on hand to assist in anything that you may require, from general information to recommendations of restaurants, and places to see and visit.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Casa Elouise. The villa is a beautiful, spacious home from home. We were surprised at how well equipped it was and there was nothing that wasn't catered for. We are a family of 12 ranging in age from 70 down to 9 and found that because of the spaciousness, we never felt "on top of one another". We also have one child who is confined to a wheelchair and access is fine (the only difficult part is a couple of steps by the pool, but this wasn't a problem for us). Access to the beach for the wheelchair was also good (although once over the walkway shown in the pictures here, my niece had to be carried down the actual beach). The beach itself was lovely, miles of deserted sand which may be because it was slightly out of season but I can't imagine ever having to fight for space. We went to one of the beach restaurants, (on the left as you look at them from the beach). It was very nice but nothing fancy. I would say that a car is a must whilst staying at the villa unless you intend to stay around the pool and the beach, and especially if like with us the weather was a little changeable. Between us we visited Tavira; Monte Gordo; Villa Real De Santo Antonio, where we took the little car ferry over to Ayemonte (Spain) at the unbelievably cheap price of €5 for the car and driver and €1.70 for additional or foot passengers. We also went to Albufeira, and drove to Seville (a lovely city); played golf on the Isla Canela (Spain again), as this was very reasonably priced (2 people and buggy €85) and visited the Slide and Splash aqua park.

The whole week has been a fantastically relaxing, chilled out time and I would definitely recommend the villa as a perfect holiday home.

amazing home, location, beach, weather - paradise!

this home is a Paradise. Pictures don't do justice to this well maintained, super clean, very comfortable house just few hundred meters from the beach. It has it all, privacy, swimming pool, barbeque, huge and modern kitchen, many bedrooms and bathrooms. Few kilometers from the grocery stores and from Montegordo. The owners are great people, always available for needs or questions. This is the real "Algarve", off the beaten tracks, still, with 20 km of wild, white, sandy beach at your doorsteps.

The villa was really lovely and had everything plus more than we needed to make our stay very comfortable. It was very handy for the beach only a 5 min walk away, with a couple of beach bars/restaurants although we did not go to either of them so can't comment on how good they are. The walk along the beach into Monte Gordo was only 20 mins but we didn't really think that much of the town especially in relation to eateries, they seem to focus more on cafe bars and if any did have a restaurant added it was an after thought. However any food we did have was reasonably good but nothing outstanding. We did use the bakery and the little cafe at the bottom of the round, lovely fresh bread and pastries every day would definitely recommend going there, couldn't believe how cheap it was either. Thank you Andrew for the use of your villa it was gorgeous.

The villa was more than adequate for our party of 11, it was clean, spacious and very very well equip. Owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
The villa is situated in a very accessible place i.e. walking distance to the nature reserve and beach, short drive to supermarkets and neighbouring towns.
I would and have recommended this villa to others, Monte Gordo is a beautiful part of Portugal and the villa only enhanced this further by giving us a base that provided us with everything that we needed. during our stay.
