Golf: It is perfect for golfers visiting this side of the Algarve. There are 3 golf courses in 5 min driving, another 2 in 10 min and 15 between 15 min and 30 min driving. I can also get to you good rates to play golf.

Perfect apartment for couple

My wife and I have just returned from a week at this apartment. Middle of October and the weather was very warm, so the roof terrace of the apartment with far reaching views and a constant Algarve breeze was very welcoming. We often stayed on the roof terrace, having previously decided to go to the beach or to the pool, simply because the terrace was so peaceful and private!
The apartment is very well maintained with well equipped kitchen and bathroom which has a powerful and reliably hot shower. The location to the centre of Carvoeiro is great. This apartment really is just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the bars and numerous restaurants, but there is a hill to walk back - to keep you fit!!
We liked the choice of balconies in addition to the terrace. We really can't fault this apartment as an ideal base for a couple wanting some peace (in October) and relaxation in the sun. We will recommend the apartment and the Colina Verde resort as a very good holiday location for a Carvoeiro holiday not requiring a car.
Rui, the owner was a delight to deal with, both beforehand and on arrival, and he also arranged the airport transfers on our behalf.
All in all, a great October break.

Great Apartment

My wife and I been to Carvoeiro before but always in a hotel / package apartments. This was our first experience of a private holiday let. Rui is a really nice person and was helpful in meeting us at La Goa and guiding us in to the apartment. It is as shown on this web site and was ideally suited to our needs. The availability of balconies on both sides and the roof terrace meant that we could always access the sun! I feel it only fair to point out that its location requires a reasonably strenuous walk uphill from the town and would not suit those with mobility issues that prohibit energetic walking or the use of stairs. Other than that I would say this is a good place to rent in the Carvoeiro area. It is a few minutes walk downhill to the town. Some other rental locations are hillier or quite a bit out from the town centre.

Fantastic Apartment

We stayed here for the second week of our two week holiday in August 2011. The apartment was immaculate on arrival and beautifully presented - the pictures definitely do not do it justice. It has all the comforts of home and the views from the roof terrace have to be seen to be believed. You can see the whole resort and the beach. The pool is a decent size and the surrounds are clean and secure - accessed via an electronic key-card - with just enough sun loungers to go round. It is at the top of a fairly steep hill which we personally did not mind as it provided some much needed exercise and meant the surrounding area was quiet at night. It is around 10 minutes leisurely walk to the centre of the resort and it's excellent selection of bars and restaurants. In high season there is also usually outside entertainment every night in the square in front of the beach.The apartment owner, Rui, was very helpful and more than happy to recommend some good places to eat. A great apartment in a great resort.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is fantastic, just as described and as you see in the pictures. It is clean, bright and spacious. There are two balconies as well as the private roof terrace, all fantastic for BBQs, eating and enjoying the sun and the great views out to sea. The location is great, yes it is up a hill but it's not that big a hill and no problem for us! Pool area was quiet and lovely. All in all, cannot fault this place and would definitely recommend. Lovely summer holiday

We had a really lovely stay here, apartment was modern and very comfortable with all facilities you would need. Great location, just a short walk to the town, beach and supermarket but quite hilly so it kept us fit! The pool is lovely, the roof terrace ideal for BBQ's and the surrounding area is nice and quiet considering how close you are to the town. Would only recommend a car if you wanted to visit the other lovely beaches as everything else is walkable.
