2 Large 1 bedroom apartments in the same new block 5 minutes from the station

These are brand new one bedroom apartments, newly furnished to a high standard. They have been designed with the business person or holiday maker in mind. They offer all modern facilities, are light and spacious and are serviced to a high standard. The apartments are ideal for anyone wanting to visit London, go to the races at Epsom racecourse or go to Wimbledon (only 20 minutes away by train).

Epsom is a lively market town near London with a good shopping centre, sports centre, cinema, theatre, many restaurants and pubs and with excellent train links to the centre of London (30-40 minutes), 45 minutes from Heathrow and 35 minutes from Gatwick. The apartments are in the same block, with one on the first floor and the other on the third floor(there is a lift). They are 5 minutes walk from the station and town centre. There is plenty to do and see in the immediate vicinity and of course an endless amount to sites to visit in London.

Car parking is opposite the block.

Sites/Transport: From Epsom to Waterloo Station takes about 30 mintues and from Waterloo you can walk to many of the great sites in London. From Waterloo alone you can see both up and down the River Thames and all its wonderful buildings. Nearby are Hampton Court, Epsom racecourse, Polesdon Lacey, Wimbledon, and Guildford. .

We provide an information pack and the local library has a tourist information section.

We can recommend a local car hire. We can organise a local taxi firm and airport pick ups.

Entertainment and Restaurants: There are plenty of restaurants in Epsom, more than enough to dine out at a different restaurant for a week or so.

There is a multiplex cinema and theatre within walking distance. The Wimbledon theatre is half an hour away with its wide variety of drama, music, ballet and opera.

Sports: Walking up to the Downs and the views over London is a must. Other sports nearby include golf, swimming, gym, tennis, squash (must be pre booked), badminton, horse riding and cycling. The gym and swimming pool and sports centre are walking distance and the nearest municipal golf course is 10 minutes by car. The owners can organise tennis and squash for you. Epsom is famous for its horses and there are several stables nearby. Walton Heath golf course is 15/20 minutes by car and Wentworth is 45 minutes by car.

Capitol Square is a new block of apartments on the edge of Epsom, within the London commuter belt. The spacious one bedroom flat offers all modern facilities, has TV/DVD/Satellite, a twin bedroom and is furnished to a high standard. The apartments are brand new and so are the furnishings. The apartments are serviced on a regular basis and the owners offer advice and help with bookings, transport ,local services and sports. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, cooker, hob, microwave, washer/drier, dishwasher and coffee machine. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fruit and a bottle of wine are included in the rental. Further groceries can be provided on arrival if requested in advance. Wireless internet connection is included. All facilities for shopping and entertainment are within walking distance as is the station. Taxis are readily available at the station and in the town centre.

We had 2 great weeks in this very comfortable, clean apartment. There was everything we needed, apart from a toothbrush! It was so convenient for walking into Epsom Town centre. Highly recommended!

Everything as advertised plus a feeling that you were a welcome guest. We were in Epsom for the post operation stage of my wife's double knee replacement so there was little opportunity for visiting local attractions but the apartment is really central for the Epsom shopping centre with restaurants/bars as close as next door to the lobby entrance and the cinema just across the road.

Epsom is within the London commuter belt. It is 30-40 minutes from London, 20 minutes from Wimbledon, 35 minute from Gatwick, 45 minutes from Heathrow, 50 minutes from Brighton and 30 minutes from Hampton Court .

Within 5 minutes of the apartment is the station with frequent trains to London Waterloo and Victoria and Wimbledon (an average of 6 per hour).

Olympics2012. Epsom is about 15 minutes by bus from the road cycling and 20 minutesd by train to the tennis.

Again it is only 40 minutes to Waterloo and Vicotria for links to other Olympic sites.

Other Activities: Horse racing, squash, theatre, cinema

Golf: There are about 15 courses within 40 minutes of Capitol Sqaure. the nearest 3 are a maximum of 10 minutes away and we have the famous RAC Club on our doorstep.

  • For Wimbledon fortnight (23 June to 6th July 2008) the rates are the same as Derby week rates.
  • We take 25% deposit and the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. We accept all major credit cards but there is a 2.5% surcharge for AMEX and Diners. i f booking by credit card we do not need a security deposit. If by cheque then we ask for a £200 security deposit.
