Bluffy Apartment

This apartment was far superior to what I imagined, beautiful interior decor, very spacious, a walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom, excellent cooking facilities and gadgets, superb views from the balcony in a quiet quaint village. The only thing you hear is the local church clock and the cow bells in a field nr by. The lift wasnt working at the time but the staircase was shallow stepped and very wide to carry you luggage up and down on. Plenty of car parking spaces, the beach is probably 2 miles down the hill but we always traveled to Taillores where the lakeside was excellent and had things for the children to do. Parking is free most places in town. Because there are permanent residents in the apartment block we tried to keep our children as quiet as possible. My husband and I did a lot of cycling, some Cols we could cycle to like Col de La Columbier and Saisses, Crux Fois, Col de Forcaz others we drove to like Col de Madelaine. You can also cycle around the lake if you prefer something easier. On the opposite side of the lake there is a dedicated cycle/rollerblading/running track which is safer than the road and is very popular. Chateau de Menthon is only a mile away down the road but we didn't have enough time to visit it this year so that will be on the agenda for next yr, we've already booked the apartment again!
