This villa is situated on the idyllic and tranquil eastern side of Barbados about 300m from Six Roads
Less than 5 minutes walk away, you can find banks, post office, supermarket, gas station and good shopping.
A 5 minute drive will take you to Foul Bay, in my opinion THE best beach on Barbados for it's tranquility and perfect Bajan sand.
The unspoilt, 'Private' beach which is open to all but overlooked by many....no crowds, no bars, just you with the sun, sea, sand and your choice of palm tree .
Just a little further along the coast brings you to The Crane Resort The beach with it's pink sand is rated one of the best 10 beaches in the world. The restaurants within the complex are great for pizza/pasta or more intimate dining.
A minutes drive away from The Crane is Cutters Bajan Deli the perfect place on the East Coast to enjoy their specialty rum punch and varied menu...say hi to Roger the friendly owner
A 10 minutes drive, will take you to the popular St Lawrence Gap renowned for its thriving nightlife, numerous bars and restaurants. Pisces is the best!!
If you're on the island on a Friday night it is essential you make your way over to Oistins Fish market to savor true Barbados ,flying fish and chips or red snapper at Dora and Jazzies by the seafront is fantastic then stroll through the market to pick up local art and souvenirs then finish off the evening by watching the locals 'slamming' down the dominoes!
For families The Atlantis Submarine is a great way to spend the afternoon enjoying the under sea world and ship wrecks of the Caribbean Sea.
Barbados Wildlife Reserve is the perfect place to see the Bajan Monkeys just make sure you arrive at feeding time which is early afternoon!!!
Harrison's Cave is the only crystal cavern in Barbados and worth a visit
Six Roads, Barbados is the perfect location to enjoy the island at it's best. Whatever you require whether it be the REAL Barbados, including Plantation houses, local rum tours or the world renowned Sam Lords Castle (now derelict, but still stunning) OR the more cosmopolitan West Coast with its calm seas and 1st class restaurants many of which are on the beachfront.
