this little beach cottage is the perfect place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. it was everything we wanted and hoped for. the beach is the best--just a few steps from the front door and it is all yours! if you love collecting shells you won't even have to walk far. the cottage is clean and tastefully furnished and the screened in porch is a perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon reading and cocktails at sunset. the neighbors who live in the main house were wonderful and so accommodating. they only made our stay more special. it was hard to say goodbye!
grand turk is a very simple island. there is not much to do which was fine with us. pretty much everything revolves around the cruise center so if there are no ships in you may be limited in some activities. in fact on sunday when we departed for the airport neither of the 2 cab companies that were contacted showed up!! luckily our nice neighbor took us to the airport.
don't miss chris singing and playing on thursday nights at the sandbar; a trip to gibbs cay to swim with the string rays and a trip to salt cay. make sure you go with tim at crystal seas adventures. he will dazzle you with information and family knowledge!
