Elegant Prague city centre apartment in historcial building, competitive rates.

It has taken us two years to find an apartment equal in style and elegance to our first successful acquisition in Prague. The new apartment represents our values of providing accommodation which captures the historical charm of Prague, while at the same time offering value for money. This Art Nouveau building has been renovated by an Italian company. Their work on the building was nominated for an award. In the apartment, many original features have been preserved. Parquet floors, French doors, high ceilings and large original windows blend tastefully with restored antiques, chandeliers and touches of modern style. There is a sunny, quiet balcony overlooking a courtyard, where you can enjoy breakfast in tranquil surroundings. There is a two and three-seater sofa bed in the flat which comfortably accommodates extra guests. This Prague apartment has been styled with an attention to detail, care and elegance, sure to leave you with memories as deep and vivid as the city itself

Book early because you will love this apartment.

This is a lovely apartment. The owners Veronika and Ilan have thought of every detail to make you stay as pleasant as possible. We arrived by bus from Budapest so could walk from the arrival point to the apartment and were sent a google map link to show us directions. Upon our arrival Veronika welcomed us and was very generous with her time, marking up maps of places to go, to eat and showing us the apartment facilities.

What a joy to have a geranium filled balcony-perfect for a glass of wine in the evening before going out. The bedroom was lovely, very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The kitchen had every thing you could want and we loved the antique armchairs and sofa. An outstanding feature of this apartment is the care taken with every detail of decoration and the thoughtfulness of what is provided such as washing powder, spare towels and the like.

We loved Veronika's recommendations for places to eat and what to see and do and would happily have spent much longer in Prague. We hope to stay in your apartments again Veronika and Ilan. Thank you for making our Prague experience so enjoyable.

Spacious and comfortable apartment near Florenc

Immaculate, well-appointed apartment (with elevator). Ilan and Veronika have a wonderful place-they were very responsive to my questions prior to arrival, arranged transport from airport, and checking in with Veronika was very thorough. Their guidebook for the apartment has many useful hints. Florenc Metro/bus stop is a few steps away-Old Town is an easy 10-15 min walk. The bedroom has a full-size sofa, the bath is nice, and the kitchen/lving room is well lit and comfortable with love seat, table and chairs. One could easily cook if not interested in eating every meal at restaurants. The balcony overlooks quiet courtyard.

Their suggestions for dining were excellent-and we found a few of our own nearby as well. At the Metro stop, ATM and metro/train/bus ticket machine were easy to operate with directions available in English. Billa, a small grocery is there as well, across the street is a small mall of shops, including pharmacy.

Florenc Metro is the intersection of two metro lines-and many exits-be sure to know how to emerge from underground at your desired exit. A three-minute walk to Gate Restaurant (one of their favorites) gave us great meals-my wife had goat cheese gratin on salad leaves with sliced beet root walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette. I had roast bone of pork on onions and dark beer-mustard "rams horns" grated horseradish (best we've had) and warm bread; wines and beers were tasty.

Sharing the same courtyard was Pivovarksy Klub-8 taps of local beers and 240 bottled beers from around the world. Great choices-and the food was much better than we'd read in RateBeer-Venison goulash in porter with best dumplings we tasted in Prague/Bulgarian meatballs with grilled veggies-not just "bar food".

Recommend Prague Free Walking Tours-Old Town and Jewish Quarter-Tom and Callum were great! (meet at the clock) and Czech Beer and Tapas tour with Dagmar as guide got us away from touristy area.

Imperial Cafe for lunch-excellent service and food. My wife had rabbit on onions and bacon with homemade spinach ravioli/my braised beef with creamy sauce was delicious, but didn't care for dumplings. Goulash soup was phenomenal.

Cafe Louvre for lunch was underwhelming.

We'd recommend this apartment - need more room? They have others as well. Rarely do we revisit a city, but if we did, the quality of the apartment and helpfulness of Veronika and Ilan would ensure that we'd stay here again.

exactly as described!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. I was initially concerned that it seemed a bit too far off from the interesting sites, but it is actually very walkable (and we are both 60, this year). One bit of advice, many many streets and sidewalks are cobbled stones, which can be rough on your feet if you don't have a good pair of shoes. Veronika gave us great advice on getting groceries at Billa, as well as two restaurants we enjoyed, Gate (2 blocks away) and Cafe Imperial (on the way to old town). Another tip: if you come by train, it should be an easy one metro stop away toward their apartment, steps away from the Floren-C stop. We felt a little robbed by the taxi driver who charged us 300 CK for a trip you could almost have walked. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you should need. You do need to hang dry your clothes if you use their washer, but one day is usually sufficient. WiFi worked great. Good selection of Prague travel books, presumably left by other renters. Ilan was also very helpful in arranging for our taxi to the airport very early in the morning. Best wishes to both Veronika and Ilan (and their cute daughter!).

Just Gorgeous !

The apartment is beautiful and very conveniently situated close to transportation and restaurants. There is also a small market in the corner.

What a find!

Very good attractive, clean and spacious apartment

This apartment is in an attractive Art Nouveau building. It was very well equipped, with well decorated, good sized rooms. It was nice to have a balcony, although the view is of the backs of the buildings in the next street. The location, Florenc, is just outside the Old Town and not particularly attractive, but ok. It’s about a 20 min walk to the edge of the Old Town at Republik Sq. but it’s only 5min walk to the Metro, tram stops, bus station and supermarket. Trams & Metro get you to the Old Town in 5 mins.
The owner, Ilan, was most helpful with good, useful communication and info before and during our stay. Thank you !

The apartment is in Old Town. It is 5 minutes walk to Na Prikope street, where you will find the Municiple House and the Jewish Quarter. Wenceslas square and Old Town square are a few minutes from here. Florenc metro station is 1 minute from the apartment. This will take you to Museum, the top of Wenceslas square in 2 mins. A tram and bus stop, 2 mins from the apartment ,can take you directly to the Jewish quarter in minutes. From here it is a few minutes walk to Old Town Square. You can also catch the number 8 tram directly to the castle. There are two supermarkets minutes from the apartment and Palladium shopping centre, the city's largest, is 5 close by. There is a bus station behind the apartment and the main train station Halvani Nadrazi, is one metro stop away. The Hilton Hotel is opposite the apartment with its famous sky bar where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. The jurys Inn is also here. By tram, metro or foot this is the pefect location to explore the city

As we have contacts in the hotel industry, we were able to negotiate special rates exclusively for our guests. Taxi transportation can be arranged with our friendly and reliable taxi company, who will pick you up directly from the airport and take you to the apartment. Groups of up to 4 cost 550 CZK, approx 20 Euros, groups of up to 8 are 800 CZK, approx 30 Euros. Our drivers all speak English and are mostly Expats who are friendly and will be able to give you advice about Prague during your journey.
