Worth the money!

All of us loved this property (there were four of us ranging in age from 45 - 72 years old). It is one of the prettiest apartment areas on the quieter side of Playa Paraiso and the facilities are superb - 2 large swimming pools and a kids' pool, plenty of sunbeds etc. The pools were meticulously cleaned daily, and the gardens were well-kept, too. The complex is securely gated and there's an on-site parking space (parking in Playa Paraiso is hellish!). For people without cars, the bus stop to Playa De Las Americas and all the coastal towns is just around the corner.
The apartment was spacious, modern, very clean and beautifully furnished. We didn't meet the owner as he was away, but his friend came around with the keys and was very helpful, giving us the name of a handyman we could call if anything needed fixing. The price for renting the apartment is quite high compared to others in the area, but for us it was worth it - and we'd definitely go back.
If you want to eat out in Playa Paraiso, there's a fantastic Italian restaurant not far away on the opposite side of the Lido (unfortunately the name escapes me), but as there's only the one, it shouldn't be difficult to find! My sister, who lives in Playa Paraiso, also recommends the Chinese restaurant at the top of the high street.
