Guestbook comments from the manager
From making the initial booking and until our departure, the service from GCM Holidays was first class. After initial contact with the owner to check availability we were given all the information needed, asked about specific requirements. The booking process was very simple and upon confirmation we were sent (pdf) brochures about Malta which were very helpful. George the owner welcomed us at the airport and took us to the apartment. Throughout our stay George was very obliging, I mentioned that I would be hiring a car and immediately he gave me access to one of the underground parking spaces.
The apartment is situated at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, attractive from the outside and accessed via a lift to the 4th floor. in my opinion the apartment was very nicely furnished and fitted with all you require for a holiday. This apartment has the best view, overlooking the countryside from a large front terrace and overlooking Marsascala harbour from the rear terrace. You should be aware that walking to and from Marsascala, only a short distance from the apartment requires you to negotiate a long steep hill.Unless you
have a car, this could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.
Marsascala is a quiet little harbour town with a very nice family atmosphere especially during the evening when families gather to chat and eat pizza. There's plenty places to eat, I would recommend Gabriel for quality and value. There's a few small shops where you can buy most things. Lidl now have stores in Malta along with Conad for the "big shop" if required. Getting around Malta by bus is OK. Arriva have plenty of buses, arriving on time is questionable. We used the buses for three days before hiring a car and found that often the buses arrived very early and were easily missed. If you want a peaceful relaxed holiday in Malta, Marsascala is ideal.
A relaxing base with stunning views.Sunbathe and swim in crystal clear blue waters locally. Access other parts of Malta easily
