This apartment is in a half-timbered house built in 1650 that was completely renovated in 2006. The floors are linked by a Louis XIII staircase. Its ancient character and charm have been enhanced by up-to-date comforts such as the following: Climate control, video-phone, double glazing, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, excellent bathroom, a separate laundry room with washing machine,dryer and ironing table, cable TV and HD internet,wifi. Situated in the heart of Paris, it’s a stone’s throw from the Louvre, the opera, place Vendôme, Faubourg Saint Honoré, St. Germain des Prés and so on. The nearest bus stops and the underground station, Pyramides, are 165 feet away, as is a ‘Velib’ station (A bike rental station).

On arrival: If possible please tell us when your plane or train is due to arrive in Paris.

The reception service is offered from 2pm until 8 pm.

Departure: Please vacate the apartment by midday.

Long-term bookings available on request: Rent for more than one month €1,500.

Rent for more than two months €1,350.

During this type of rental electricity is not included in the rent and due by the tenant.

This apartment has its own laundry room.

This property is the type of building we like with full of interesting parts of the 17th century which is a very great period of our french history .

The building could have met Henri IV or Louis XIV so even in the walls of every flat we could almost feel the atmosphere of that time. And our building is located in the very heart of Paris surrounded by many historical monuments and places...

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment is perfectly situated to visit Paris in the very city center .

It is walking distance to the Louvre museum, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower , the Tuileries Garden and so many interesting areas of Paris.

It is in a half timbered house built around 1650 and has been completely renovated in 2006 and very recently in 2012.

The floors are linked by a Louis XIII staircase and its charm due to the ancien style and authenticity has been enhanced by up to date comfots such as climat control, video phone, double glazing, air conditioning , fully equipped kitchenette , cable TV ,free HD internet wifi connexion and a private small laundry.

Beautifully decorated with a warm and cosy atmosphere.

Sejour inoubliable au premier etage Rue St Roch

mon expérience au premier étage rue st roch a été superbe ! j'y suis restée pendant deux semaines fin de juin, 2014. tout d'abord, l'appartement est exactement comme on peut le voir dans les photos: plein de détails de bon gout et avec tous les éléments dont on a besoin pour avoir un séjour inoubliable et confortable. ensuite, le lit est tres confortable ainsi que la salle de bains (meme si c'est petite); la cuisine avec le four, le four éléctrique, le frigidaire, etc, est tres bien équipée; la climatisation est aussi bien maintenue. l'emplacement de l'immeuble est parfait pour un touriste: on est pres de tout, absolument tout (musées, restos, jardins, supermarchés, magasins raffinés et plus bon marchés, quartiers haut de gamme et quartiers branchés) et on se sent aussi tres a l'aise rentrant a minuit. le wifi marche a la perfection ainsi que la tele. et quand j'ai eu un probleme avec la télé, anne, la propriétaire, m'a répondu tout de suite dans un effort pour le résoudre avec vitesse. elle a été tres gentille avec d'autres détails de mon séjour. j'adore paris et sans doute rue st roche sera mon choix a nouveau dans mon prochain séjour.

First time in France

Thank you Anne for allowing us to rent your apartment during our short visit to Paris! Alexandria, it was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for your help with getting settled in when we arrived. This apartment is perfect for anyone new to the city because it is very close to all the major attractions, restaurants, shopping, groceries, and transportation. It felt as though we had been there in the past. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped - everything and more! This apartment and its location are reason enough to re-visit Paris and we would not ever consider staying anywhere else. We will contact you again Anne (hopefully soon).

Springtime in Paris

Rented this small, charming, very clean apartment for 2 weeks as a woman travelling alone. Anne and her husband, Olivier, work hard to make this a comfortable home-away-from home. This apartment is in a super location, only 2 blocks from the Louvre and a Monoprix (Similar to a Target in the U.S. with a grocery in the basement) right across the street. Anne is very accommodating and helpful and willing to answer any and all questions. The amenities are numerous, and include everything you would want, even a can opener and placemats. I did not need to buy anything for the apartment, except a box of tissues. It is very well stocked in terms of plates, cooking utensils, flatware, pots and pans. The coffee pot is a "French press” which makes great coffee. I found that that I couldn't beat the value of this apartment as the location is perfect. Its atmosphere very charming, although I am a history buff and loved its historic aspect. I hope to stay here again when I return to Paris someday. Would highly recommend.

Paris in September

This was a very cute apartment located in a very convenient spot in the city. The Louvre and shops were extremely close. Ample amount of space for two people. There is a separate laundry room for each apartment which was nice. Because we don't speak French we couldn't really figure out how to work the washer/dryer properly, but it was still a nice feature. Our unit did have a very slow draining shower which once we knew about, we got used to it. Also, I believe our unit was missing a space heater as it was a bit of a colder September than expected. Regardless of those little items, this was still an excellent stay. The price/location/size/amentities of the unit were enough for me to still rank it at excellent.
