A very pleasant cottage well located as described.Well maintained and equipped, nicely decorated and very clean.Owners very helpful and cheerful.Would recommend the Britannia pub grub and Trewithin Gardens coffee shop
We stayed here for a long weekend in January, it couldn't have been better. I would say home from home but it is better than my home and the kitchen is very very well equipped. You could cook your Christmas dinner there no problems. The heating was really good (which we needed in winter). Loads of storage space available, TV and DVD player (no sky - just freeview). A large Tesco is just down the road, 2 mins in the car and an Asda only 5 mins away. WIFI available but the signal was not good and I had no signal at all for my mobile (vodafone) O2 was a bit better but not good.
A perfect location to explore the area. Cottage was extremely clean and furnished to a high standard as described. Hosts very helpful and friendly, recommending places to surf, visit and eat. A wonderful cream tea was waiting for us on arrival. So much to do and see in this area of Cornwall - one week wasn't long enough! Will recommend to friends and family.
We stayed 4 nights at this property. The hosts were very hospitable and went to a lot of trouble to make our stay a pleasant one - even arranging for us to watch a New Zealand match on TV at the local rugby club. The cottage is quaint, very comfortably furnished and contained absolutely every mod con you could want. We were greeted with an afternoon tea of homemade scones and clotted cream - a treat! The cottage is very well situated for exploring Cornwall. We highly recommended it.
