Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday cabin in Wickenburg - Rio Tierra Casitas
Superior Interiors • A 1 bedroom, 1 bath, guest house (sleeps 3)

Wake up someplace special in pure Western bliss! Here's authentic Old West charm loaded with fun-filled appointments. A queen-size log bed features custom quilts and a corral of pillows and a couch/day bed for an

additional person. The tin-paneled bathroom with Texas-sized shower and old porcelain corner sink show off

more of the artful details within. Turn back time in the pioneer kitchen with old farm sink, O'Keefe & Merritt stove and

cool period refrigerator. A high tongue&groove wood ceiling looks down on transom-topped doorways, acid-stained

floors, and Navajo rugs. On the high tech side of life, there is free WIFI, a flat screen TV & DVD, satellite tv, and a great collection of Western books if you choose to escape your apps & emails. Open up the back door to the private cowboy zen patio and kick back with morning coffee or a sunset matinee cocktail. The spirit of Roy Rogers comes alive in this roundup of rustic Western pleasures.

Professional Hosts: We'd love to turn you on to our hand-crafted casitas at Rio Tierra.

Of course all linens are provided (sun-dried by the sun and smell oh-so-sweet) as well as a totally stocked kitchen with such items as coffee presses, wine glasses, delightful dinnerware, dark chocolates, plus unique soaps & bubble bath. Please note: we are very committed to preserving our resources and the environment and using natural products.

We are a professional lodging establishment and have been hosting guests around the West for over 15 years.

We live in a separate on-site residence and are here to assist you in any way, visit and share stories, or leave

everyone to their own private space. Meeting visitors like you is the highlight of this business!

Please see our excellent reviews on the web. It will be a remarkable experience and unique Arizona memory.

Ready to book? Wait! There's more!

Great Outdoors: There is an outdoor pavilion for guests to huddle around the campfire at night or cool off under the big shade trees in the afternoon with liquid refreshments It's a Beer Garden or Tea Garden--whatever your pleasure.

There are also BBQs for guests use with fresh-cut mesquite wood for the grill.

The fenced compound--clustered around a park-like setting--is nestled along The Nature Conservancy's 600-acre Hassayampa River Preserve. This rare, Sonoran desert oasis is a rich riparian area of cattails, giant cottonwood and willow trees and mesquite groves. Of course we have the famous Arizona saguaro and prickly pear cactus backdrop as well. Don't forget your hiking attire and binoculars to explore our private river trails and lose yourself in the lush foliage of a river outing. The water's edge is about a 2 minute walk out back.

Birders Beware: This preserve's river/mountain/desert terrain is home to some 280 bird species!

Virtual Hug

Review Submitted: 10 April 2013 Date of Stay: April 2013
I wanted to give you a virtual hug. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my stay. I had such a peaceful time and first time for that in too many years.
I just felt so warm and safe here.

Perfect

5 out of 5
Review Submitted: 21 November 2012 Date of Stay: November 2012
We had to return. Our second time to Rancho Deluxe was for a week. The location and decor are perfect. Hiking at Vulture Peak, riding horses at Cowboy Way Adventures, eating Mexican at Anita's, art at the Western Art Museum and breakfast at Ike's all make the decision to choose Rancho Deluxe when visiting Wickenburg the "perfect" decision. "Perfect" weather of November in Arizona doesn't hurt either.

Truly Unique

5 out of 5
Review Submitted: 02 April 2012 Date of Stay: March 2012
It was a long weekend in a rural playground with a river of cool collections. The prize intrigue down this dusty little road, were the free standing guest quarters, all with distinctively different personalities and all equally entertaining. Owners Katy Bee and John Markli put their signature touch on every piece of architecture and strategically placed artifact that makes this property truly unique. I came away not only amused, but well rested, relaxed and with my reality check back in tow.

Wonderful Place

Review Submitted: 05 December 2011 Date of Stay: November 2011
We had a wonderful time at Rancho Deluxe. The place was the perfect getaway. The decorations, books and picutres made for an interesting time. We found this on the internet and it had good reviews. It more than exceeded our expectations.
