Beautiful Villa in own grounds, 60m from beach

From start to finish our holiday plans were pleasantly worry and stress free- An oddity when planning a 5 adult, 4 children family.
on arrival the property was beautifully presented. We arrived to a lovely letter had written from the owner introducing us to our temporary home. A wonderfully creative letter filled with local knowledge and contacts that were very much used within our first week.

The house was exactly as described, which exceeded all expectations. The layout worked perfectly for two young families with small children.
Pleasantly secluded for a true holiday away for the main stream tourists, beautiful coast and clear waters are only a couple of aspects of the trip that we took away and relish upon along with the fantastic recommendations of local restaurant serving true Croatian food and the freshest fish one could imagine.

The local market was a treat, the majority of locals speak some English (some more than others) and are very helpful and always smiling. Being able to cook your market purchases on the built in BBQ was an alfresco lovers dream - many a nights were spent on the terrace.

The Harbour offers a great evening of dining, walking and just taking in the relaxed vibe. The town is character filled with small winding streets and different shops, bars and restaurants- this is where you will come across your fellow Mediterranean traveller- mainly Italians, Spanish and French but everyone in likewise tranquil holiday mode, just enjoying Croatia for what it is.

All in all, a fantastic homely escape for 2 London families and will happily recommend to all that want to experience Milna for its true beauty and origins. If you are happy in a resort or enjoy a run of the mill holiday then this is not for you.
For those considering Croatia- go now because as every other country it won't be the same in 5 years.
