Hi, I'm Sharon Cloghessy. My husband Mark and I discovered Sanibel Island and Pointe Santo while surfing the Internet during a blizzard in 1998. We've visited Pointe Santo every year since, finally purchasing our own place in 2004.

We visit our Sanibel home regularly to make sure it's crisp, clean and inviting for our guests, many of whom return each year. Come and find out why!

Our Week in Paradise!

Our third trip to Sanibel Island was better than our first. The location of Pointe Santo de Sanibel is the best. From the manicured lawns to the Beachfront views, this property is the place to stay.
"Simply Sanibel" home away from home condo is the most relaxing place to stay. The million dollar view from the Lanai, the upgrades in the condo to the friendliness of the owners, these are the reason we return. There is everything we need in the condo, especially the space. The Girls enjoy their own room and bathroom, and we enjoy the large bedroom with beach views for us.The sound of the waves crashing on the shore while you lie in bed is so relaxing. The kitchen is complete with all appliances needed, coffee maker and Blender too. It feels better than home, it is very relaxing!!!!
Our family of 4 enjoy the biking paths, the wildlife refuge, the Lighthouse and Pier. We always find new and exciting things to do on the island and visit a few favorites each time.
On this trip, we visited with friends staying on the island as well. We all wish we could return once we come home. Our friends recommended the island to us and we always recommend the island to others. We have enjoyed talking about Pointe Santo and hope to return soon.
Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of paradise and look forward to visiting again.

We are a Dutch family (2 adults and 3 children (ages 14, 14 and 11). We stayed in Pointe Santo (C 36) for three weeks and had a very good time! Sanibel is beautiful and we enjoyed the beachlife there. We took several nature trails (Ding park & Everglades).

The apartment is spacious, has a well equipped kitchen, (very) large fridge and lot of entertainment to enjoy yourself indoors (Apple TV, lots of dvd's, games). The kids liked to 'cool down' after a long day of sun and fun in the pool and at the beach. My oldest sons were (or found themselves) too big to sleap in the queensize bed, so we also used the sofa bed in the living room (a little less comfortable, but it worked out!).

We were very happy with the communication with Sharon (the owner), we can recommend a stay in her apartment!

The condo, the beach, the water, the shelling...all PERFECT!!!! Already planning next years trip. Sharon, the condos owner was a pleasure to work with, and very helpful. The condo has everything you need beach wise for adults & kids. That is so nice that u don't have to bring it with or buy when u arrive. I highly recommend this condo. Sanibel is our new favorite vacation destination.

C-36 is the place to stay

If you're looking for a relaxing, stress free vacation look no farther than C-36 at Pointe Santo de Sanibel. The condo itself is beautiful and it is obvious that the owners take great pride in making sure that their visitors have a wonderful time. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you could need to cook for yourself during your stay if you want. There are games, books, and DVD's for evenings spent indoors. The balcony views are amazing. We spent every morning there for breakfast enjoying the sight of the lagoon with the ocean beyond. Lots of mornings we heard osprey and watched them flying around one of the palms near the pool. Beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles, and toys of all kind are available for your use and beach towels can be found in the master bathroom closet so you really only need to bring your family and clothes and you are set for the week. My favorite spot was the oversized, amazingly comfortable chair in the master bedroom. You can enjoy a great view while reading or just relaxing from this spot. As for Pointe Santo itself we really loved the beach and pool. We saw dolphins and on our last day a manatee came up and greeted a bunch of beachgoers and my son which totally made his day. Before we even left we were talking about when we come back again and when we do we'll be looking to stay in C-36.

Even better than advertised!

This condo was even better than advertised! There are so many extra touches that made this place special. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds/linens were very comfortable. The view is gorgeous, of course, and beach items/toys were an extra bonus. The keyless entry was super convenient. And it was great having dishwasher and laundry detergent, beach towels, toilet paper, etc., provided. We will definitely choose this property again when we return to Sanibel!
