Our Flat is located in a Prime and safe district in Vienna.

Only 2 min walking distance to the underground U4 which takes you directly to the following sites: Schwedenplatz, Landstrasse, Stadtpark, Karlsplatz, Opera House and Schoenbrunn palace.

You could also reach the City centre within 10 min of Walking along the river (Danube canal).

Our Designer Flat has 48m2 consists of a Sleeping room, a living-room and separated fully equipped kitchen and a separated bathroom with Wifi. located on first floor (lift) facing to a court yard and is very quiet.

The district with its theatres and very good restaurants is one of the most exclusive ones in town. In the neighbourhood you will find, beside museums, excellent Austrian/int. restaurants, Viennese cafés, bakeries, supermarkets and the metro for your excursions.

In addition to providing you best quality, inexpensive apartment in the heart of the city, we will also be able to provide other useful information and services to make your journey to Vienna an enjoyable one

The Danube Canal, which was years ago also called Viennese Water (Wiener Wasser), became revitalised and developed in the last few years to a new hot spot.

After years of negligence new opened beach bars, clubs and cafés illuminated the area. The surroundings along the Danube Canal provide different kinds of leisure centres and party locations, but also landing places of the Danube shipping, like Twin City Liner or Vienna Roundtrips.

Summer Stage 2 min walking from our flat:

The summerstage has become an institution. It is situated on the Danube Canal, right at the subway station Rossauer Laende. On two levels, once dirkt next to the water and once on road height. You can eat well, drink, chill out, watch TV and there is often live music events. A beautiful Treffelpunkt on a hot summer evening in Vienna.

Mani's District 9 Apartment

To give perspective, I am an experienced traveler from the USA who has been using VRBO the last few years. I stayed 10 days in Mani's apartment in December. I think I was the first person in there after it was remodeled and furnished.
The photos and Mani's description are accurate. It really is 2.5 Min. from the U-4 line and minutes from everything in the historic city center. If you intend to spend most of your time there, you can't do better than this property for location. I felt safe walking around the area even late at night (just remember you are in a big cosmopolitan city). Note that Wien Mitte is also called "Landstrasse" on the CAT train info. lest you get confused. For 2012 the CAT train station is undergoing a complete reconstruction so the transfer to the U-4 is kind of an adventure.
The property is in a 100 year old block characteristic of the whole district. It has a lift that drops you at the front door of the apartment. The apartment faces the inner courtyard and has 2-ft. thick brick walls. This was the quietest place I have every stayed. I only encountered two people in the building in 10 days, although several permanent residences are there. In the winter the water heater must run to circulate water through the radiators, but you get used to it.
The furnishings are modern minimalist, couch and bed very comfortable (for the Americans its not your Certa posturpedic). The kitchen is functional, well stocked and the bathroom has a new shower in it.
Something to do is turn left upon exiting the door of the building, Turn right at the corner and in a block you will encounter a floor-to-ceiling "Altesware" (antique) store. Even if your'e not into that, do it anyway, keep walking to the Zielpunct, restaurants etc.
Mani was very responsive and friendly and easy to work with. He always answers his phone, so you have an excellent connection as needed.
If you are into immersion but want the quiet place to rest, this is ideal.
I highly recommend this apartment and Mani's service along with it.

Decent apartment in Vienna

We spent 4 nights in this apartment.
The pros:
The location is outstanding. We ended up buying 24 hour passes for the transit system for 2 of the 3 days. It is a quick walk to the nearby U4. You can also walk to a relatively large grocery store at a Franz Josefs Bahnhof. The advantage of this is it is open on Sunday when most groceries are closed. Exit apartment, turn left, and end of block turn right….at dead end turn left. It is a large Billa near the McDonalds.
Quiet. The unit was quiet. It overlooks a courtyard so you have no street noise.
Shower was good. There are shampoos and conditioners, etc.
Bed is very comfortable
Sense of old Vienna with the high ceilings, etc.

The cons:
There is neither a clothes washer nor dishwasher. More importantly, there is no microwave or freezer. Yes, it is only a refrigerator (so don’t buy ice cream at the store).
There is only a couch for seating. It would be nice to have another comfortable chair in the living area.
There is little room on the sides of the bed. You have to climb into it from the bottom. There is not room for a nightstand nor is there a shelf behind.

Mani is an excellent host. He answered e mails I sent when I was there (re directions, etc.). The apartment is as advertised in the photos. We learned to love it even without a freezer and microwave!

A terrific, well-located apartment

We recently enjoyed a wonderful first time visit to Vienna staying 4 days in Mani's very well located, extremely clean, comfortable and very quiet apartment. It was wonderful being able to walk safely through the neighbourhood and into the city.

Although I endorse all the previous positive comments made by other reviewers I have 2 suggestions based on our experiences:

. An iron and board be provided as part of the standard inventory for the property.

. As there is no washing machine/dryer in the apartment it would be helpful to have specific information on where to go to be find a laundromat where could be done provided with the address.

We absolutely loved Vienna and would certainly stay either in this apartment of one of Mani's other apartments again when we next visit.

Centrally located flat. Comfortable for two

This was my first time in Vienna. Staying at this flat was the perfect decision. Is is very well located, with the U-Bahn station a short 3- 5 min walk away. Supermarkets are also with 6-7 min walking. The flat itself is well appointed and all the amenities are covered. It was extremely clean and it's clear it's well taken care. Mani, the owner, was friendly and ready to help with everything. I am actually very grateful for all the extra help he provided. I had very high expectations for my visit to Vienna; I was not disappointed,and staying at this place definitively contributed to that. I would certainly recommend this place, and I will certainly use it again during my next visit.

Clean, quiet and spacious flat in a great location

My daughter and I stayed in this flat for three nights in April (much too short a visit!) and were very impressed. Mani is a very kind and helpful host and is always available to assist with any questions you may have.

The flat is exactly as described on the site and is on a lovely residential street close to the Danube Canal and the University of Vienna. The flat is very clean, well-equipped, and extremely quiet. It faces onto an internal courtyard and you hear no noise at all from the street. We heard no noise from neighbours either.

There are lots of amenities nearby and the U4 subway stop is very close. Vienna’s subway system is very clean, safe and efficient and you can easily and quickly reach all the major sights. (Tip: get a multi-day ticket for the transit system. You can buy it directly from the ticket machine at the subway stop. This is different from and less expensive than the Vienna Card, which includes a transit pass as well as discounts to museums and other attractions. Look at both of these options before buying as the Vienna Card is worth it only if you plan to visit lots of museums. See other Internet postings on this subject.)

In short, I loved this flat and the neighbourhood and would stay there again on my next visit to Vienna.

Lovely clean, modern and convenient apartment.

This is a lovely, clean and modern apartment in a safe and convenient location. The accomodation were exactly as advertised with additional nice touches like a Vienna tourist guide and maps. The main bed was very comfortable and the fold-down couch was more than adequate. The owner was very available and provided useful information about local shopping, restaurants and attractions.
