loved our stay. huge home, 4brdms, 5.5bath (and 2nd living room w/pull out sofa to accomodate more ppl). directTV in all the rooms, well stocked books, dvds, 3D blu ray, board games. there is plenty of parking for cars, and a large enclosed patio to relax without fear of bugs. kitchen has dual dishwashers, dual fridge, oven, microwave, everything in good condition. coffee maker pre-stocked with k-cups, laundry room with detergent, towels, extra bog roll, napkins, etc. very clean home, noticed no window curtains in the rooms. but most neighboring beautiful houses are unoccupied and boarded up, (but there is police patrol for security). so its very private, very quiet, very secluded. house is in a development but looks like construction halted, you travel on rural roads to get there, and development roads could use some work. surrounded by farmlands, lots of tractors, beautiful sunrises. and see the stars at night.
well managed, extremely clean. tammy the manager is extremely nice, we loved the welcoming gifts for the children. she'll also arrange local events and grocery delivery if you request, and lives nearby.
lots of stuff to do local. normal stores like walmart, best buy, and an outlet mall to the east. there are several golf courses in the area not too expensive. about 10min east there is a large public park with big playground. a winery is 5mins away north, with many events, live music, open late on weekends, and good sweet wines and interesting homemade beers. robert is here fruit stand just 5mins away, tons of delicious fruit, mangoes, avocados, etc, some rare ones, a large smoothie stand ($5), live music, tractors, and petting zoo. its always packed with ppl and kids. they make great key lime pie ($15), jellies, honey, etc too. alligator farm 15min south, to see feeding, shows (costs $15/person $20 with boat ride), but better to go west 10mins to the everglades. tons of trails, see the crystal clear waters, and alligators in their natural habitat, as well as fishes, birds, etc. you buy passes to the park at the entrance.
not too many food options. we made a stop at costco and bought crabs and lobster, steaks, etc and just cooked at the home. its a perfect place to gather, we had 4 families and 2 toddlers. just had so much fun spending time together, and the house is big enough that everyone has space. would definitely consider to come back again for another big gathering.
