YOUR FAMILY HOME IN LONDON: Free Wi-Fi - XBox(Wi-fi)

Situated on the edge of Zone 1, close to two Tube stations and with frequent buses to Waterloo, Westminster and beyond, it is the perfect base for a vacation exploring London.

Both Tube stations are a 10-minute walk away, or take the bus and be at Tate Britain, Big Ben, or Westminster Abbey in 10-15 minutes!

The house is situated in a safe, quiet, residential street and with space to spread out and relax (a scarce commodity in most London holiday apartments) it is perfect for families, couples, or larger groups. On quiet nights you can even hear Big Ben strike and the River Thames is just a short walk away.

The new American Embassy is being built nearby, very close to the impressive MI6 building.

Please note that this is a traditional British semi-detatched house, not an apartment. You occupy the whole house, so no noisy neighbours above, or below!

There are two 'Local' express supermarkets 5-minutes away, plus cafés, delis and restaurants, all within easy reach. There are also two gyms nearby to work off the calories.

The property has recently been totally refurbished and is supplied with everything you'll need to make your stay stress free and comfortable and cut down on your luggage.

There is a small, but fully-loaded kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs, are two large bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and remote-controlled ceiling fans, a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk-bed and a family bathroom with bath tub and power shower.

Downstairs there is a shower room, a lounge with double sofa bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a dining room (seats 8) leading out to a patio garden.

Baby cots and inflatable beds can also be supplied on request. The house is centrally-heated and double-glazed.

Linens, towels, bathrobes and 2 hairdriers are supplied.

The house sleeps 8 adults (in beds/sofabed, plus we can provide 2 extra cots for infants)

For relaxing at night, a selection of DVDs and Xbox 360 games are available (please ask, as we like to offer age appropriate films and Xbox games), as well as books and games.

Free Wi-Fi is available. Also supplied are two pay-as-you-go phones for you to use during your stay.

Some basic food stuffs to get you started are included, such as tea, coffee (instant, decaff and filter), milk, bread, eggs, butter, cooking oil, olive oil and condiments.

If you would like us to have your own shopping ready for you when you arrive we can arrange that for a small fee of £10, or you can order it online and have it delivered and we will put perishables in the fridge.

If you have any special requirements, please let us know and we will do our best.

Check in is 4 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m.

If you are arriving early, we can look after your luggage until check in time, so you can fit in some sightseeing.

We try to be as flexible as possible with arrival and departure times.

There is a total no smoking policy in the house, but guests may smoke in the garden.

Daily Parking Permits can be arranged, the current cost is £5 per day.

We are nearby, so always on call for any queries.

Perfect for kids!

I would definitely recommend this place to those who are traveling with children. When we stayed here, it was like a home away from home. The hosts were great and we had no problems at all. It was the first time I wasn't stressed out on a vacation with our two boys.

Amazing Hospitality

This is a very conveniently located three bedroom duplex in Central London with easy access to EVERYTHING! The property owners stocked the fridge with breakfast items (we arrived late in the evening on the 16th), provided prepaid cards for use on the metro and on buses, provided cell phones for our use in London, and stocked the duplex with helpful guide books and umbrellas. The duplex has two modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water for showers, a newly remodeled kitchen, a flat screen television in the living room, and a lovely patio area with a table and chairs. Jeff and Bev are SO fun and thoughtful. We were three adults travelling and were VERY comfortable during our stay.

Fab hols.

Arrived very early but Jeff and Bev were very kind and let us dump our luggage off and had arranged parking permits for our son's car, this in itself is a massive plus for a family staying in London as it is rare to find a property with this benefit.
The house was as described ( in my opinion also rare!! ) Our family consisted of 4 adults and 2 grandsons and there was plenty of space for all of us.
Wonderfully stocked cupboards and so nice to have the fridge stocked with essentials, especially after a long journey. Literature on the sights, local supermarket and buses on the doorstop - this was great for me as I don't do tube and my Grandsons thought going on a bus was fantastic fun.
Location great and nothing was to much trouble, Bev and Jeff even supplied mobile phones to contact them in the event of emergencies which must be amazing for overseas visitors.
So many extras at the house - dressing gowns, slippers, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, nice towels and hairdryers, x box and good selection of books and games, better than most Hotels we have stayed in when visiting London.
If you are looking to visit London with your family this is ideal, very reasonably priced and you can get the kids to bed after a long day and relax - Jeff and Bev even brought us a bottle of wine because the outside light wasn't working - what more could you ask for - perfect holiday and hosts. Thank you very much from all of us.

Two italian family in London

It was the first time we were in London and we had a great hospitality.The House is very beautiful and comfortable. It is equipped with all comfort and we felt like at home. The kindness of the owners Jeff and Bev it was unique.We have also supplied two mobile phones to avoid losing. Upon our arrival the fridge was full of so much stuff. The large and airy rooms are decorated with very good taste. We were very pleased to spend a week in London in a House like this.The recommend to everyone and especially to the Italian families.We hope to return as soon as possible.

Wonderful Family 1/2 Duplex Close to Amenities and Transportation

My husband and two teenage boys stayed at the Lambeth house for a week this July. The home was just as described, and there was more than enough room for the four of us - we could have easily fit another family. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed as well as many welcome extras - Fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers for all of us, shower amenities, and all of the supplies we could need in the kitchen to prepare some of the meals at home.

The front dresser was full of tour books and local guides for our use, umbrellas, rain smocks, and reusable shopping bags for the very short walk to the local Sainsbury's for groceries. We were provided 2 pay as you go cell phones to use to contact the owners, as well as oyster cards we could load for use on the buses and tubes. The bus stop is very close to the property, and given the nice weather, the tube stations are only a short walk away - as is access to the river walk along the Thames with many restaurants and cafes. We felt like we were a short ride from everything we wanted to see.

Jeff and Bev were excellent hosts and were there to greet us on our arrival, go through the workings of the house, as well as provide us some details about the local area. They had also stocked the fridge with items for our first breakfast - eggs, bacon, milk, juice and bread - very appreciated after a long day of travelling, and the cupboards had a good selection of spices and condiments. In addition, there were ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms, as well as electric fans as well - very welcome as the weather was quite warm during our visit, as well as a little garden with tables in chairs in the back.

We had one concern during our stay - the iron we were provided was not working properly. After a text to Jeff, we returned later that day to find a brand new iron and fresh flowers as well! What wonderful service.

Jeff and Bev also met us on our last day, and were kind enough to help arrange a car service after the taxi we booked did not show up.

I would highly recommend this rental, and we look forward to returning to London in the future and staying at the house again!

We had a wonderful stay in your house. Everything was just perfect ! The listing photos accurately reflect the house appearance and amenities and a lot beyond. We stayed three generations in your house and I must say that everybody had a pleasant feeling from staying in a typical contemporary English house. I would definately recommend your house to everybody who is seeking comfortable, clean and well-maintained property. The owner Jeff was very helpful and he gave us accurate answers to all our questions. Tnx again for our fabulous stay in your house.
