A comfortable apartment for two with pool, in a small village 300yds from sea

The sunny and comfortable apartment is on the ground floor in a two-story building and a patio surrounds the building. The building has only eight, one bedroomed apartments. It contains an open plan living/dining/kitchen with a garden view. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped for self catering and there is a washing machine and a hair dryer.The bedroom has air conditioning/heating.

The comfortable apartment is ideal for one or two persons. It is 300 yards from the rocky shore. St. Julians, with its many shops, restaurants and Churches is within 5 minutes by car. Car hire is recommended but not essential. Parking outside the apartment is available for any hired cars. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION ALSO VISIT MY WEBSITE WWW.maltastar.co.uk (the rates on that website are out of date.) St. Julians has many language schools and they are easily accessible from the apartment as are numerous internet cafes. RENTAL INCLUDES WATER AND ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTIN. The pool is open between first May to mid October. Sometimes it is closed for maintenance, this is beyond my control.

With ramblers in mind late winter and early spring the Maltese islands offer the most fascinating country walks. The North West has a breathtaking array of scenic landscapes rich in geological features, secluded beaches, coastal cliffs, historical and archaeological sites, coastal towers and wayside chapels scattered in remote and sometimes inaccessible areas. The apartment is perfectly located for exploring the country side and coast near by.

Located in the area is the Mediterraneo Bio Park. A great way to understand more about marine life and its inhabitants through entertainment. You can also swim with the dolphins.

We have owned this property for many years and it has undergone many face lifts inorder to keep it in proper order and make it as comfortable as possible for you as for us when we visit Malta which is frequently now that we are retired.

It's location is so convenient for quiet or lively attractions. All you have to do is turn left for open countryside and right for lively St. Julians. The apartments are tucked away from the main road where you have access to busses or if you hire a car you can reach most of the island.

The apartment is located in a quiet ares between the popular resorts of St. Julians, Paceville and St. Paul's Bay. Miles of coast line walking and good shopping are found in the St. Julians areas. Valletta the Capital is twenty minutes by car. There is so much to do for the adventurous: scuba diving,(Malta voted top dive destination in Europe according to Diver magazine), snorkeling, wind surfing, rock climbing, golf and for those looking for a slower pace; three thousand years of history, country and seaside walks. In late winter and early spring the Maltese Islands offer the most fascinating country walks, breathtaking array of scenic landscapes ,quiet coves and tranquil harbours. Three quarters of an hour away by car you can catch the ferry to the island of Gozo. A thirty minute crossing will take you to this enchanting island. Malta has year-round music, theatre and art galleries and is an island for all seasons.

In the vicinity there is the Mediterraneo Water Park. This is popular with water rides, an attractive pool and Marine Park where one can swim with dolphins.

Golf: The Royal Malta Golf Club is half an hour away from the apartment.

Relax and sightsee

Such a lovely week's holiday. Peaceful and relaxing with lots to see but at a gentle pace. Apartment is just far enough out from St Julian's to not suffer any noise but near enough that a short stroll to the bus stop and a 10 minute bus ride saw us right in the middle of the restaurants area of St Julian's waterfront. Very safe and friendly. No real need for a car - terrific public transport sytem. We saw the whole island for the price of a very cheap 5 day bus pass and a slightly dearer - but worth every cent - day trip around the whole island.

The apartment was just lovely. Fresh and clean, cool and comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. Lots of hot water, a sparkling modern shower room and a very good kitchen facility. The beds were really comfortable and my friend and I slept like logs throughout our stay. We were there in June and had the pool practically to ourselves whatever time of day we chose to cool off from the fabulously sunny weather..

I was looking for relaxation which didn't include nightclubbing so I can't comment on the clubs. But there is an abundance of good restaurants around to entertain you in the evenings and taxis and buses easily available when you are ready to retire for the night..

I would return tomorrow to the apartment and to Malta. As I said to start - such a lovely holiday!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, People with Disabilities
Owner's Response: Thank you for a wonderful review. It is very informative for other guests. Next year you should go for two weeks and see the other secret and unexpected areas round Malta and Gozo. Visit the various old beautifully preserved villages or the open countryside in the North West of the island.

Easter in Malta

We are back home again after a really enjoyable holiday. We were very happy with the apartment. The weather in Malta was lovely - warm and sunny most of the time and with a breeze, perfect for sightseeing and we did see a lot of the island and had a good day on Goso too. It was just a bit cool in the evenings but the heaters in the apartment were fine. We found it very comfortable and very well-equipped. Car hire with Percius was completely trouble-free, thank you for recommending them. Thank you for your advice regarding your dentist in Malta, he was excellent and cheaper than UK.

Sunny Christmas and New Year

We had a lovely mild Christmas in Sunny Malta and managed to celebrate in some delicious restaurants dotted around the island through out the holidays.
Apartment comfortable and well equipped and convenient location to reach most parts of the island. Taxi arranged by owner picked us up and gave us lots of tips about Malta. Must visit Gozo next year!

Nice, quiet apartment

The apartment has got a very good accoutrement. There are 2 rooms. On the one hand there's a big living room including a nice cooking area on the other hand there's a bedroom with air condition, which was very important this summer.
Of cause there is a small bathroom with a shower and a washing machine.
The appertment is very clean and the "landlady" was very, very nice and tried to help us in everything we needed.

The neighbours who are no tourists we think are nice people to.
But there is a small negative point.A dog in the direct neighbourhood barked sometimes half an hour. But normally during the day.

This summer it was very, very, very hot , which makes trips or sightseeing impossible. So it was good for us renting a car, although there's a bus station nearly the apartment.

Lovely time in your apartment

We had a lovely time in your apartment. We were so glad of the aircon at night as it was very hot. The weather just got hotter and hotter, but here we are back in the rain!

We went all over the island by bus. We loved Valletta, Mdina, Mosta, Bugibba and Marsaxlokk. We took the bus to Rabat, another to Dingli cliffs to the Blue Grotto. That was a hair-raising ride along the rough road at speed.

Thanks for organizing the holiday so easily.
