The university offers 2 theaters, an art gallery and sports venues featuring the Montana Grizzlies football and Lady Griz basketball teams. The downtown scene offers The Missoula Art Museum, The Missoula Symphony, the nationally know Missoula Children’s Theater, the Hip Strip and a First Friday event once a month. From May through September there are 3 Saturday markets offering Farm to Table produce and products as well as beautifully crafted items from local artists.
Further Details: Missoula also has over 22 miles of hiking and biking trails to enjoy during our great outdoor months. There are bikes on site for your enjoyment as well as an encouragement to travel “green” around town and the university.
