Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday cabin in Moscow - Wyman Lake Camp
3 bedroom, 1 full bath downstairs, 1 half bath upstairs...sleeps 8
This is the perfect Maine escape. Feel like you are the only people on earth when you are at the private cove on the lake. Yet camp sits on a major tarred road and it is just minutes to town and area attractions.
Camp is just 5 mi from being half way to the equator or half way to the north pole. Either way, you are totally at the gateway to the Maine forest! Bingham is the hub of the twin towns with a population of 989. You'll find the area gas stations, a couple convenience stores, two places to rent movies, buy liquor, a small grocery store and a few restaurants. Moscow boasts a population of 577 and one of the most beautiful scenic byway drives in the country! Camp sits right on it! Remote and unspoiled, this neck of the Maine woods embraces nature and beauty. Popular in summer for swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing, whitewater rafting and hiking. The Appalachian Trail crosses just a few miles north in Caratunk and Houston Falls is a short boat ride across the lake. Waterfall seekers will also find Moxie and Grand Falls just a few miles north. We have 800 approved miles of ATV trails, some of the best snowmobile trails and plenty of acres to hunt. Foliage season is spectacular!

Dear Bud and Maria,
Thank you so much for sharing your camp. We had a great time! You certainly made everything available to us we could possibly need. Thanks for the info on local natural attractions. Moxie Falls was our favorite and what a great swim we had there too. We've made some great memories to cherish with your help.

This was my Dad's summer home. When he passed away in 2007, it was left to my sister and I. We are hoping to keep it long enough so our children have the opportunity to use and enjoy it with their children. My sister is now in San Diego and I live 2 hours away in Bath, Maine. We don't get the time to enjoy it much so we thought someone may like the opportunity to find out why being in the north woods of Maine is so special.
