Holiday Villa in Obidos, Portugal

The detailed description of this villa didn't do it justice. The location was beautiful, yet peaceful. The accomodation was outstanding with four tastefully decorated bedrooms and the villa itself in a beautiful condition. The cleanliness was outstanding also.
Before our arrival, I was in constant contact with the owner and he kindly provided the most excellent directions from the airport to the villa without which we would have certainly got lost - even with a Sat Nav!! The folder provided in the accomodation gave excellent details of the surrounding area, best beaches, where to eat, emergency details (which unfortunately came in handy!) and lots more besides.
The walk into the beautiful walled city of Obidos was a nightly event for us, once the crowds had discipated and it was the most wonderful place to wander at dusk as the lights were coming on lighting up the castle walls.
The accomodation was close enough to the main route that takes you to Lisbon and further on to Nazare and Porto which made days out very manageable, even with three children!
I don't have a bad word to say about the booking, the accomodation or the area. It was all fantastic and I think the owners are very lucky!
